Purchased 300 plus feet of Brazilian Cherry on 2/9/11 and had it delivered to a Maryland location. Upon receipt of wood flooring, we discovered that when we put the flooring down for installation , huge gaps were present between each row of boards. upon further inspection we measured a few boards and found that the gaps were being created because the boards were different widths on each board. Also the flooring was a poor grade and not the select grade that we were to get. I called Noam Kuperstein who sold me the order and he advised me to work with him and asked us if we could putty between the boards that werent going together. I laughed at his request and responded with a no. I told him that he needed to pick this crap up and provide us with a refund. He said he would take care of that and would send me a bill of lading for pickup in the next day or two. Weeks went buy without a call or email from Mr Kuperstein. Finally one friday afternoon he called at 2:30 and said that he had a truck in the area and could i meet him for pickup. I did. The next day i asked when i could expect the refund and he said he would take care of immediately. That was B***S***! Another week went buy and nothing. When I finally got a hold of him, he said that he couldn't refund the money because it was past 30 days and that I had to contact the bank myself to get my money back. Long story short....no money...no wood...Contacted the New Jersey Better Business Bureau and they wrote me back that the business didnt respond...what a surprise...they send a letter to him and he doesnt respond...also the BBB doesnt do phone calls...what is their purpose???Thast another issue...Taking this to the Attorney General's office and see if we cant track down Mr Kuperstein...he also told me that he had no other complaints about this wood which i see someone got the royal shaft from Noam in April 2011 concerning the same wood. Do not buy from this jerkweed...the wood is poor quality brazilian cherry...it l;ooked like it had set out in th rain for a long period of time and then brought in to dry. |

There are no complaints that we havent taken care of. This is a customer that purchased wood from us, did not like it - had it returned - all shipping expenses covered by us - and no restocking fee.
Customer purchased with credit card and requested a refund more than 30 days after the order. We therefore informed him to request the refund with the credit card company as after 30 days it has to been done on his end. For some reason he was not able to do that - and wanted to discharge his inability on us.
From the language used on the above report, one can see the level of conversation we had deal with.
Client was refunded in full.
The material by the way, was of excellent quality and was installed immediately thereafter without any problems. Therefore the claims of gaps were unfounded. |
