lincoln Hardship relief convinced me, against my first and better judgement, to send them 990$ and in return they would work with my Mortgage company to find an "error", and get my mortage interest or balance rduced by almost 400$month. Once they took my money, they "lost" my paperwork and after several months of annoying phone conversations, the promised to refund my money. I have not heard from them in months and they cannot be reached. |

I am very disappointed in the fact that regardless of how many messages I leave they still fail to return phone calls. theyclaim that you have a money back guarantee and that the process will take 90 days. It has been more thank 90 days with no results .I did business with them due to that fact that I felt I was getting no where with my mortgage company. From what I can see they are no better that the predatory lenders out that that have taken advantage of so many people.
No communication from Lincoln Hardship Relief makes them look as unethical as the banks they are supposedly dealing with.
If anyone gets any results or thier money refunded please let me know how.

In April 2001, I agreed to pay them $750.00 for loan modification negotiation. They promised that my $30, 000 back payments would be written off and my interest rate dropped to 4.5%. In May they assigned me a new contact because they were 'overwhelmed' with modifications. I sent them emails to all of my contacts at the end of May with both 'Read Receipts' and 'Delivery Receipts' and never heard back from them. Today I received notice from B of A that I didn't qualify for loan modification, called them and got a 'this line is not in service' recording. I sent them an email demanding they respond with 'Delivery Receipts' which I immediatly received. I still haven't seen any 'Read Receipts'.
On the plus side.. even though I faxed them the check authorizing $750.00, they only negotiated it for $250.00. |
