there is a lot of negative/wrong posts |

I cannot post my comments or at least I cannot see them, so I can give my side of the story. |

I went through the interview process, the training class and currently out having a blast…and making good money doing it. Sure it was a lot to take in, but it was worth every second These negative comments boggle me. I don’t know what these clowns are complaining about or where they got their information. However, misery loves company. They told us up front, this isn’t some Mickey Mouse job you can do on the side. They wanted motivated individuals with intent to make a name for themselves. One must take a step back and look within to truly see where the waste of time was. It makes me upset to see all these negative comments, when all they did was provide us with an enormous opportunity. I don’t want these complainers to mess with their credibility and especially my future.
They even made us sign a checklist and statement to insure that we knew what we were getting ourselves into, which if you read every word was truly only asking for commitment and motivation. At times it seemed like they were trying to weed out anybody that did not have the backbone. There was one fella that kept asking some pretty inconsiderate questions that quite frankly had nothing to do with what we were being trained on. He just wanted to prove everyone wrong. These are the people that I am sure are writing these negative comments with such rude and ill-mannered comments. Rejection plays a huge part in any sales position. And boy I have failed with the best of them. There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.
It is always money well spent when investing in yourself...and they have done no such SCAMing. I knew what I was getting myself into prior to flying to Dallas from South Carolina. And I knew that failure wasn't an option. I hope all you people on the fence will take this for what it is, a genuine real opportunity for the right people. One last piece advice…stops listening to the victims out there and look at the process for yourself with open eyes and untainted views. The only real failure in life is the failure to try.
If you don’t want to take my word for it and want to make sure this is not a scam as some have so wrongfully alleged, click the link below. I wouldn’t read any other of these badly informed comments above before you read this site's outlook. This website is well renowned and is as legit as they come. Good Luck to you all.

I just saw this post and had to give you my experience as well Fsam - I also work for Lexicon. My only suggestion is that you go to your 1st initial web interview and let me know if all your questions were answered or better yet, if you end up qualifying for a 2nd interview with your state's area manager let me know how that went! I am still relatively new, a little over a month, and there are some things they will tell you that it seems most don’t want to hear on this site. Travel is really based on where you live and how many are working from your area, or how many territories are available near you. From what I understand I got lucky and got one of the last commutable territories in my area easily commutable to my home. They told me that up front as well and I didn’t hesitate to take them up on that territory.
Income... I'm averaging a little over $1000 a week. I know that is not great but I am still learning and I am finally doing as they have tried to teach me over and over again and starting selling ancillary products with my sales, it is sooo much easier than I thought, I guess I had a mental block on that one. It has started to increase my income and it feels what I am closing I am closely in a way that it feels very solidified and like I have a better relationship with the people I am selling. Again, I have only been with the company for a little over a month and I am sure that I will make a lot more soon. Learning takes longer when you don’t listen and apply what they tell you, I learned that the hard way.
For all who are wondering, LSH has the best training program I have ever been through and support like I've never had in all my years in sales. I can’t tell you how much better this is than my last sales job.
I see some things talking about expenses... each week they pay me b/t $150.00 to $500.00 based on how much I sell to cover the cost of my expenses. Again, much better than my last position.
Good Luck to you and all that take that LEAP with Lexicon. |

Here is "Ryan" from the webinar. If you don't think you are being sold - think again. Any company that sets up informational meetings and interviews where you can't ask any questions is very suspicious. If it was the real deal they would have a LIVE video confrence with a top sales manager to talk about the position and then give you a chance to ask questions. I asked the recruiter a few questions which she ignored & now I know why. I can see paying to get a license, but not a bunch of $$$$ up front to a company to employ you. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! There are plenty of companies that take people without sales experience & train them properly - all without having to pay ANY money upfront. |

I will make this short and sweet. I looked at a lot of opportunities and even went to work for AFLAC. They told me they give you appointments, but that wasn’t the case at all. They really just gave us a list and we called and set the appointments – that was horrible.
I went back to searching and found Lexicon. Look – they give you sales appointments every day, they didn’t lie and it sure is not a scam. This is so much better and easier. I can tell you from setting my own appointments, they are not all perfect, they are not all sitting with their checkbooks on the table waiting for you to show up that is for sure, but I can tell you that I didn’t set these appointments and all I want is an opportunity to sell and help people. I don’t have to be on the phones for 3 days a week to only get worse appointments than I get now 4 days a week and I set those worse appointments for myself. That was my problem w/ AFLAC, I couldn't get in front of more than 2 or 3 people a week and it took most of the week just to get a day or two of appointments.
My point? I see more people, sell more and am 10 times happier than any sales position I have ever had. Don’t get me wrong, you work hard, especially at first, but this is now one of the easiest sales jobs I have ever had. Check it out, you will see that what I am saying is accurate. |

Word to the wise –
Thank you to those taking the time to post positive truthful postings regarding Lexicon. I am one that came very close to quitting because I just was not getting it. The support and encouragement from managers was unbelievable and all I can tell you is that it took field training to really get this.
I was struggling financially and all I can say is that you can make money so fast once you field train. I saw all of the things I was doing wrong and more importantly the opportunities I was missing when I was blaming everything but me. My advice to anyone starting would be to field train as soon as you can after classroom training. It is what made it all come together for me and I am now doing very well.
Also – to FSam – if you are the same person mentioned in one of the meetings Monday – congratulations. I thought I had a good week. If that is you keep it up, I know you are helping a lot of good people. |
|
|
InsuranceguruAM and NFrey –
Yes that was me they mentioned and yes I had a good week with many more to come I can assure you. For those just starting do as AM is suggesting, that is great advice, field train as soon as possible I can tell you that helped me a ton as well. Other than that pay attention in the meeting and apply what you learn. Also per AM’s comments regarding helping people, do the right thing for the seniors you are able to meet with and have fun! I am serious, just go do the work, it will be worth it in the end.
Last thing – don’t waste a lot of time with these posts, focus on what you know to be true and work hard to keep learning and helping – you will be very glad you did.

Good to see some other success stories! I'm sure you would agree, this opportunity can be great for the right person. If you're willing to put in the time, learn the systems, understand and believe in the good you are doing for your clients you can do very well in this industry and with Lexicon. Keep it up folks, there will always be plenty of people to help! |

I believe that every single one of these "positive" experiences with Lexicon was generated by their clever and effective marketing department. If you do your research (independent, verifiable sources), it will become crystal clear why there are so many irate former agents. |
|
|
Well done Lexicon or is it Senior Healthcare Consults or RJR.
You really have a good marketing department who keep posting those unbeilivable stories of sucess through imaginary agents, but you know its all untrue and you still keep on doing it, shame on you.
Anybody who hears the name Lexicon Senior Healthcare RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DO NOT TURN AROUND.
They are a scam company who will take your money, have you sell to elderly people in a way that they are being mislead and then steal your commisions and renewals. |

This is the fake process they use, when you get into second meeting with “Ryan Matthews”, you will see how fake it is, the other people in the web meeting are not there with you, they will make you think there are other people, but it’s a lie, from a lying company, beware…. |
