No doubt LaserAway in Hollywood, and what I've experienced in San Diego, gets great reviews on Yelp, and is such a good customer to Yelp, if you post something LaserAway doesn't like, they'll remove it ASAP! The great reviews are party myth as they do not reveal the fact Laser Away has issues with dealing drugs. Of course, they don't give them out, but at the time of the below recording, if you had a service done, LaserAway would provide Vicodin and Xanex without doctor approval. LaserAway was investigated for distributing narcotics without a doctor speaking to the patient, seeing a patient, or knowing anything about the patient. See complaint, 09-00555-RN. and hear for yourself how LaserAway's own staff, under the supervision of Brock Heckman (San Diego location/Scott Heckman , West Hollywood location) admits a doctor never needs to see a patient to distribute controlled narcotics like Vicodin and Xanex. In my little humble opinion, a place with doctor degrees on the wall and only a nurse or tech on site is nothing more than a front and endangers the well being of its clients when providing controlled narcotics against the law. What's more interesting is the fact the "medical director" doesn't appear to be board certified in cosmetic surgery, but is merely a physician, which is great if you are sick, but there's a reason why doctors receive specialized education and become board certified in cosemetic surgery. Personally, if I wanted a cosmetic surgery done, I would go to a doctor who is board certified in cosmetic surgery, which Kapoor doesn't appear to be. It's like taking your Mercedes to a Ford dealer for service. Be safe and avoid places like LaserAway ( LaserAway.net ) that can cause you severe injury. |

Actually if you do your research, you will find Dr Kapoor to be triple board certified..not only in aesthetic surgery specializing in oculoplastics and aesthetic surgery, but is also one of the few in the country to be Board Certified in Laser Surgery, as well as being a Board Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and diplomate of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery..

Actually I have been to the Laseraway location in Santa Monica and also Sherman Oaks, , and they don;t offer Xanax or Vicodin..And if it is an unusual case where patient cannot tolerate it whatsoever, the doctor is usually there, and will perform a detailed history and physical, consents, and remains present during the entire procedure..The patient is then observed and not allowed to leave unless their vitals are and they are accomanied and driven by a companion,
You seem to want to attack this comapny with false accusations.. I wonder if the audio is fake.. it could be anyone . Are you competition?Why go so far to talk about this narcotics thing.. they never encouraged them whenever I asked for them for my thermage procedure, even when I told them I am a wuss. Bt the way, anyone can check it out for themselves, I have no reason to make this up, and you wll get the same answer I have., No nurse even PA or NP;s will administer any narcotics without the doctor being present and conducting the history.. dont take my word. Go ask any location.
You can use me as a reference as a patient there after talking to them..
I have been going for 3 years for tattoo removal, hair removal and a thermage around my lower jaw area. Happy customer who did my research fully on the company and esp did ectensive on Kapoor, thr doctor in charge. I looked her up and got this imoressive bio from the American Board site.

Clearly Rob is prob one of the Heckmanns. This place is about to be exposed as they are breaking so many laws. Through a check with the state on board certifications, Kapoori is a fraud who is NOt board certified in anything except opthamology, ie eyes. She doesn’t “supervise” treatments as a verb, but rather signs off on everything.
This place injured and deformed my face because they are incompetent.
