Liars! the old bait and switch!! the managers tell you about the programs and all the assistance you will receive, then have you look at a contract while its still in the computer-- voila! once printed, the contract has nothing you agreed to on it!!!!!!!!!!! the manager who signed me went as far as to show me where he had written on the contract "DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT CARD" as I paid in cash and had no credit card, but only a debit card i was receiving benefits on. However, once the contract was given to me to sign, I wrote in "will not" use the card also before I signed---he tried to stop me saying "I already showed you where I put that on the contract". When issues began to arise later, I looked over the contract and found only my written non-consent to debit that card. When handed the contract, he placed it in an envelope and rushed me out the cube stating he had more customers. when signing up for the personal trainer, I was assured that the cost was 180.00 per month for ten months, which is what the trainer showed me, then handed me papers with X's on it and told me to initial then sign. $180.00 turned into $299.00 which I knew nothing about until they charged my card. For the training they tell you you must have a debit or credit card. I authorized $180.00 one time only debit, but they added $99.00 which the trainer stated "They never tell people about the extra fees to join the gym." I told him I had already joined the gym the day before and paid the $99.00 fee. His reply was, "this is different". I was never told about the additional fees, nor did I ask them to "finance" me for twelve months. These people are ripoffs!!!! Now I find when I go to cancel the initial month to month 29.99 "not a contract" that turned into a contract-- fees, laf had tried to debit my card and called me 10 times in two days to get another number. I had already paid first and last month, so it shouldn't have been a problem to cancel right? Wrong, they want to charge you until they say they can stop, whether you ever show up at the gym or not and no matter what you tell them during the recorded conversations. The professional trainer disappeared and I was told I could use anyone. I didn't want any of the other trainers as I would have signed up with them. This was the only professional body builder they had and he and his manager assured me he would be my trainer. The new manager graciously put my account on "freeze" until the trainer's assured return. And again, suddenly, I get "unfrozen" (not by myself) and demands for payment. I cancelled over the phone, then over the internet, then found they wanted me to mail a print out you must download from the computer website. by the way, the trainer has yet to return. The unprofessional staff they have all claim to be managers until you start to ask questions other than "do you have any towels" which they don't, but should since you paid to use them. DON"T sign up, don't believe anything they tell you. It's a joke, they don't even tell you how to work the machines. They take your money and harass you for the rest of your life. |
