Kings Creek Plantation Jeff Kerr- Sales Associate Kings Creek Practices, |
1st of Dec, 2011 by User611218 |
In October, 2011 I visited Kings Creek Plantation and was subjected to a timeshare sales presentation. The sales agent is a professional con-artist. I was told of the unique vacation package that went along with the timeshare purchase. Unlimited $299 week long vacations. I was not able to find out about the details of the vacation package until it was too late to cancel. I was only able to quit paying for the timeshare let it revert back to Kings Creek. I have complained to the BBB. The BBB has recieved complaints on Kings Creek and are looking for more complaints. If you have not file a claim with the BBB please do so. I also contacted the Attorney General of Virginia. They have also received several complaints against Kings Creek and are looking for more. Kings Creek practice of "deceptive markting practices" must be stopped. I have also found out time share sales agents in the state of Virginia do not have to be licensed. I have also contacted the State of Virginia( Virginia DPOR) requesting that time share sales reps must be licensed realtors. That way ethics must be followed or the agent is at risk of losing his or her license. |

I also bought a timeshare in October this year at Kings creek-I was ok with this until I found out about the ice-rewards program that they used as a selling ploy. Again my sales rep sold this as unlimited weeks with a minor charge of $49-399 for a week at resorts all over the world- They would pay for membership to this for 2 years.
We have been to many timeshare presentations and have never bought-and we found this to be to interesting. Well we bought the timeshare and I now have found out more about ice rewards, when you call to set up your account they try to sell you a lifetime membership for $1498 which includes a" free" cruise and a 2-1 airline tickets, which i turned down. I am finding out that there are numerous complaints out there about them. Now I feel like I have been scammed, I would not have bought the timeshare without this particulat benefit. I will look into a complaint with the attorney general for Virginia, Thank you |
