Be ware of... Kareatha Diaz and Spanish driver driving a Honda Civic allowing you to hit them so they can scam you and your insurance company out of thousands. A month ago my son was in a bumper to bumper accident with this couple a (Spanish male as the driver and Kareatha Diaz as the passenger) driving a beat up Honda Civic with the trunk tied down. However, as everyone proceeded through the green light and intersection the Honda abruptly stops in the middle of the intersection allowing my son to hit their bumper. Needless to say, my insurance company paid them over $900.00. Presenting themselves as the victims, but in truth you are the victim, and I can assure you they didnt use the insurance money to repair the cars damages as it was already damaged possibly from previous scams. This scam could have resulted in a serious accident. I understand driving defensively but how do you protect yourself against scammer on Texas roads trying to make you hit them purposely for a buck. First they stop; you hit their bumper, and then they get out of the car. Diaz shows her identification not the male who's driving. However, he asked for $200.00 and says "we don't need to contact the insurance company, but in my case they ripped me and my insurance company off. I hope the HPD catches on and put this criminal couple in jail and have them pay for victimizing citizens of Houston by praying on them like a hunted animal. I understand gasoline and everything else is high, but to create an accident for money is unbelievable. One of these days, a scam like this will seriously injure or kill someone and then what. Could you images 60 percent of people on the road pulling this type of scam? No one is safe If you feel this happened to you or will happen. File a police report immediately. You will have collected all of their personal information at the time of the planned accident. Dont let them get away with this type of scam. |
