I was approch on match.com by a man name Joseph L. Hartman we talked for several months on yaahoo.com messanger. He became my boyfriend and asked me to remove myself from match.com which I did. He claimed to live in San Diego his phone number checked out although he never answered it alway the message recording. Hi you reached Joseph I'll call you back, leave a message, he has a stronge accent sound German but maybe African. I don't know now. He said he won a contrat in Africa and was taking his asthmic son Mark with him on the trip to Africa. After he got there he claimed all his bags where stolen, his computer, his sons video games, pass port, id and 8000.00. He said he had nothing accept the hotel he had booked in advance. He asked for my help he needed money. I refused at first but he promised his accountant would put 100,000.00 into my acct. a Brain Hooks (acct. name). There was an account that got in touch with on yahoo messanger he showed video of himself at first and was in an office setting. He promised the money would be in as soon as Joseph bought the required document, 3800.00 dollars was the cost. As soon as Joseph filled out the documents and got them to him I would receive the money to pay me back and to send to Joeph. I thought I was in love with Joeph L. Hartman, we had been talking on the phone, texting & Instat messaging for over two months. I gave him over 6000 dollars because he need to pay for document, food because they were starving, money for shelter because they were kicked out of there hotel, that cost 350.00 dollars because the police would not let his son go until he had the 350.00 dollars for the hotel.
He said my son is very sick Mark may die he's in the hospital I need to pay for medican send me money please I can't lose my son it would be on you if he dies. You send me money to save my son please ***. Don't you care about Mark. He needed money for the documents and said only 600.00 dollars more please I messed up the last ones you will get 500,000.00 because that is the required amount I can take out at one time. And on and on he begged, don't you love me, don't you want to come home to you, Mark needs medical attention from the US not Africa. We will be one big happy family when I get home, happy family he kept saying. I'll take care of all your bills I'm rich enough I have 4.5 million dollars in my bank Brain Hooks told you, tell Brain your my wife so he will make the transfer. Brain kept saying we need to hurry with this tell Joseph to hurry up with the document send him the money you will get more than enough to pay your bills, don't you want Joseph and Mark home send him the money. Having both of them tell me the same story and rushing me made me believe them. I sent the money out of hope for there safe return. Now I know I scammed because I gave Brain Hooks and Joesph my account number and on the 6th of June my account was missing 1200.00 the amount I told Joseph I made a month. I caught it on the 6th and reported it to my bank. Although I could not prove Joseph or Brain had anything to do with it. My bank is still working on getting the money back to me and finding out who did this. I could not pay my house payment this month or pay any of my bills because of Josph L. Hartman. He still trying to contact me. Telling me he loves me. To accept his calls, talk to him on the internet. My friends told me it was a scam but he had me so convinced that he loved me and we were going to be togather if he could only get back to the US. I ran out of money and he stop communicating with me. I tryed texting him and finally answered. Trouble with the phone and internet he said. He acted really nice for about two days then he said today 6/21/11 that if I could get money to fly home I could leave Mark here and come back to get him once I get to the bank. So I need to get money for one ticket. I shut my computer off and hide my messanger from everyone. He is still trying to contact me. He clicks my name on messanger and it comes up still even when Im hidden, I can still see his words begging me to call. text or get on line, That I don't understand, I need you, your the only one who can help me.ect...... Joseph L. Hartman is on facebook on the internet as a noncommercial Research Org. Living in San Diego, CA. 92116. Accept the address is for a Joseph L.
