I have used AAF and JTI for sometime now and at the sales level they are kind and polite. The vehicles appear to be in good condition until you have had them for a month or two. Then things fall apart on them. When we got out vehicle, it work fine within a month there was this squeal that we heard everytime we started the vehicle. I stopped in at the dealership in Rogers a couple of times and they said to take it to the mechanic that they recommended. I would go there and they were either too busy to look at it right then and wanted me to leave it or they were at lunch and couldnt be bothered, even though they were all right there standing around laughing and talking.
So I decided to have someone else fix the problem which turned out to the be the alternator. We paid for the alternator and the service, this was a little over $200 out of our pocket. That is a two week payment for us. This put me behind on my payment with JTI. However, they had no sympathy in the matter and still demanded their payemnt with late fees of course.
So when trying to work with the loan officer on my account, whenever I try to call her she is with a customer or on the phone with someone. When I say that I want to make a payment over the phone, they tell me how much I am behind and I once again explain to them that I have so much money I can pay which is my payment plus extra. They tell me that part will go to the late fees and that still leaves me short making my payment.
They cut you off while talking to them, they are condescending and rude. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they say that I can talk to him on Thursday if He wants to talk to me. I believe that this is wrong and extremely poor customer service and respect for the customer. The way I lookat it, if it wasnt for their customers then they wouldnt have a business.
I have not recommended this company to any of my friends in a long time. It seems that they get you in the door by making great deals on down payments and cars and then turn around and rip you off by their service. If I wouldnt get charged for repossion and didnt need the vehicle, it would go back to them immediately. Once I have this vehicle paid off, I will not ever return to them.
Thank you
