They scammed me out of my hard earned money with fake repairs!

My vehicle had a problem overheating so I took it to this repair shop since my boyfriend and I have been there before. He had my truck for a week and I paid him $400.00. Then a few days later it started clunking and stalled out in the middle of the street! I took it back for him to look at it and he said it would need a new engine, then the next day he said he would just order a kit instead of a new engine and to give him $350.00 to order it and he would start. I waited about a week which was the time he said it would take to fix. When I called him he said the manifold cracked and broke and he ended up replacing that twice, then the head gasket was replaced, then the relay, then the oil pump and he even took out the module and who knows what else. Every time I spoke to him, He told me the part he put on did'nt fit or the parts guy brought him the wrong part and he just needs one more day. This turned into 6 weeks before I had to finally have police help me tow it out! It had to be towed to the dealership because it was torn apart so badly that no other mechanic would take it. Then he was mad with me because I needed my vehicle and did'nt want to keep waiting on his lies. Being a woman with children they has really upset our life.
