J&F Marine Services Frank Fister Jr. FRAUD REFUSES TO PROVIDE INSURANCE INFORMATION AND ASKS YOU TO WIRE MONEY HIM WITH NO STRINGS Vero Beach, Florida |

I contacted this company to haul about across country. I spent 3 days going back and forth with Frank Fister Jr. (sounds like a pseudonym) about the details of the job. When I was ready to finalize the deal, he sent me his agreement, boat prep form, and information for me to directly wire him half the money (over $2,000). Immediately, red flags went up. The agreement was also shady and not professional at all. Just a word doc with some very basic info on it. The letter head included a different company name (Eric Stith Transport, Stoney Creer, VA 23882). Instead of signing the agreement and blindly wiring this guy the cash, I requested his proof of insurance and the driver's name. Frank's reply...."Not interested,Kindly use U-Ship good luck". I decided to give him a call to try and figure out what had just happened. Frank answered, and as soon as I told him who I was he went into a tirade about how he doesn't need my business and how I wasted his time. He was very upset and kept referencing the fact that I asked for his driver's name as the reason why he ended our business so abruptly. Kind of a small request in my opinion, considering he is going to be driving my $20,000 boat over 1500 miles. I decided to humor him and told Frank that I would withdraw my request for the driver's name, if he could provide his proof of insurance (the most basic document a shipper/hauler/moving company should have. It was quiet for a few seconds (he sounded like he was crying or close to it) then he replied that he no longer wanted my business and hung up. I guess Frankie was banking on a sucker born everyday, but it wasn't going to be me. Do not waste your time with this guy. He is a shyster and a fraud looking for easy targets and easy money.
