I went to ITT-Tech for Web Design to get a Bachelors Degree!I attended the school for 2 years and graduated freely in Dec. 2009. I was told that was a great decision at the time, so I enrolled with no worries. I was told it was one of the top schools and was higher average than any other. WRONG! I get half way through, to re due my financial aid papers for the next half, and I am told I can't get a Bachelors Degree!! They said their never was an opportunity for that! I was specifically told in the beginning by my administrator that it was available. On top of that, I knew NOTHING about my field, and barely got the help I needed. So now I am stuck with a meaningless piece of paper and no education with HUGE bills that I am struggling to pay! I have no job, and they didn't help me at all to find one! They had a career fair a few times but the one company they had there was looking for employees way more knowledgeable than any of us! Most of the employers there were: Wendy's, UPS, Taco Bell etc. Can you believe this is the the type of career fair they offer?! I am standing there in a black business suit and they want me to apply to a fast food joint!!!!! This school was a joke from beginning to end! Half of the students in the whole school left to go home early every night because no one was learning! I had about 30 other students who enrolled in my field in the beginning. At the end, there were only 3 left (including me!) We didn't have many classes with hands on work, and if we did it was because we were copying off of the teacher following along-
At the end of the 2 years we had a giant exam/presentation called Capstone. We needed to do this to prove that we learned and present our knowledge to multiple teachers. I knew nothing and my instructor knew this! So he did my entire Capstone project for me and let me pass! I got free A's most of the 2 years and when I took this to the director's office it was my word against the teachers! Who do you think won that? Them!!! They are all about the money and nothing else! So many students dropped out right in front of me, I should have followed them out the door and saved my money! Now still I am jobless and with no help, ITT-Tech has the audacity to still mail me letters asking me to come back and finish my career. There STILL is no Bachelors Degree available! What are they going to do? Bribe me to return so they can lie to me and screw me over again?? I don't think so!!!! I want to sue them and get these meaningless bills out of my face! My life in ruined and I am thousands of dollars in debt!
