I also listed an item on iOffer and the same thing happened to me.

iOffer removed the listing and a couple of weeks later i was sent this really long, hard to understand email from IP assure - via Stacey Papchristos. It seems its the same letter all of you received as well.

I fully complied with everything after my item was removed from ioffer then i got this email. Totally freaked me out.

It seems no one really knows if its legit or not, yes she is a lawyer but these do not seem like legitimate practices. I have also been under the belief that you must receive something via mail not email in order for it to be legitimate. Stacey claims that its okay to contact us via email. I don't think it is.

I don't understand why I am being forced to settle when there is no real case at hand to actually settle. That seems really fishy to me.

Has anyone actually paid her, is what I really want to know.

I don't trust that paying her will end whatever this is. It feels like extortion as I abided by what was originally asked of me and now it almost feels like blackmail since I will apparently be sued if i do not pay.

Yes she is a certified lawyer but these practices do not seem legal and they are very threatening. I feel as though I am being harassed by this woman so she can get some extra money in time for christmas as this is when it all started - the beginning of december.

I can't afford to pay the $300 she is demanding, its almost as much as my rent and i barely make rent every month. Please help!

Like you have mention, (there are no case and no proof of evidences). Settle on what?? Scamm, don't give a damn who she is. Settlement will required legal document from courts and certified mail. Not by no crazy threat of emial request from her. Do nothing, just report to [email protected] or whatever fraud department you know of. She tried with me and got crap. Tolded her if she ain't that ugly. I would settle in bed. So, tell her to f u c k herself and $2 million lawsuit. Settle for a couple of hundreds, fake bitch Stacy Papachristos IpAassure.

I just recently got a threat from her as well. I had posted an item on ebay. I found out that the only way they can get your email is only if you have bought something from her or visa versa. She wants $300 from me. I told her I cannot afford that, but I am more then willing to sign an agreement not to post anything that has to do with this particular company. She wrote be back, being very nasty and telling me that I am unwilling to cooperate with her. I have since read the policies thru ebay and I am pretty sure this policy is universal when it comes to other selling communities. If there is any sort of copyright infringment, it is to be reported thru ebay and they will investigate. My lawyer friend also told me that she has not sent anything certified to my house which also should have been done and NOT via email. Roport her to whatever selling community you are with, and let them do the leg work to find out if she is legit or not. More then likely she has pulled this scam with more then just a dozen people.
