Ripoff Report Verified™ REVIEW: EDitor’s UPDATE: Positive rating and recognition has been given to Ripoff Report Verified™ .. part of Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program. A program that benefits the consumer, assures them of complete satisfaction and confidence when doing business with a member business.. Infinity Roofing and Siding’s works with a broad base of residential and commercial clients typically after an extreme weather event (windstorm, hail, etc.). The company typically provides roofing repair or replacement depending on the client’s needs while providing limited warranty repair or maintenance work. The company focuses on attaining clients in areas with recent storm damage. Sarah Pearsal stated that during the course of installation, “I will obtain as much information over the phone as possible to identify the source of the lead and pass relevant information to local sales representatives to follow-up can close the sale with the client. Their field sales representatives meet with potential clients; evaluate the condition of the perspective’s roof, provide estimates for repair/replacement to the prospect and insurer. They then assist with the insurance company’s procedures as many home owners’ deductible is the only out of pocket expense. Infinity believes that the most challenging issues they face are in regards to effective communication of the scheduling issues that can arise during a project. For example, weather delays are beyond the company’s control. The company states they are working harder to prepare their clients for those factors which are out of their control to allow for the customer’s expectations to be met with minimal “surprises.” Some of the most common complaints that Infinity receives are in regards to how the company cleans up scraps of debris during the work and at the close out of the project. In some gases, the company stated that long grass may mask some small amounts of debris that may only be discovered during future lawn service. The company states that they will respond as quickly as possible with nail magnets or whatever tolls are required for additional cleanup should that happen. One instance where a client was not satisfied with Infinity was when a customer ordered a less expensive type of roofing material believing it would match others in the neighborhood. Upon delivery, the customer realized that the product was not of the same style and quality. The company worked with the client through their local sales representative and they discovered a better quality product to exchange the product they were not happy with. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer .. The people at Infinity Roofing did just that with no problem. NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED ---------------------------------------- Infinity Roofing & Siding Derek Lindsey DECEPTIVE COMPANY AND OWNER Earth City, Missouri Infinity Roofing & Siding claims to have maintained an office in St. Louis since 2006 at an Executive Office in Westport. However, after checking with the Westport Office and the BBB, they have not. They had their foreign corportation status terminated due to not paying their fees and filing their reports. However, they did business illegally in Missouri after the April 2012 storm up to June of 2012. They only had their reinstatement to do business approved after having already done a lot of business here illegally!
They are a storm chasing company who are headquartered in Houston Texas and do not maintain a local office with a full time staff or manager. They do not have a local production staff and handle business out of their Texas office. They represent what Missouri is trying to stop and that is doing business with out-of-state storm chasers who give an impression they are a true local company.
Derek Lindsey is the owner and is maintains a low profile as he doesn't want anyone to know who he is. He is a liar and a cheat and treats those who works for him as dirt. He does not honor promises he makes. I have had problems with them honoring their warranty and after doing some research, found out that the salesman was a convicted felon for theft and non-payment of child support!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH INFINITY! |
