Indymac Mortgage Service Onewest Bank HAMP Loan Mod w/ Indymac-HA!-I'm more likely to have brunch with Obama, Elvis, & Einstein @ White House! Austin, |

I see from reviewing the ripoff posts on these crooks that Indymac (aka OneWest Bank) has wrecked more people's lives than ours. Our story begins back in Nov '07 with a cut in hours for both my husband & I. Reviewing our budget I saw we were going to have difficulty if the cut hours continued or got worse. I started trying to get a HAMP loan mod in Feb '08 after I lost my job. Despite multiple attempts at contacting them regarding status and being told something different with every person I spoke to, I pursued the HAMP Loan Mod mirage. Long story short, we have been forced 2x's now to stop making payments in order to get their attention in the loan mitigation dept. Hundreds of calls to their c/s or litigation dept have been unsuccessful in getting them to use the correct NVP values, re-examine the application, or even give us a straight answer. Our paperwork has been lost so many times I can't count. I have resorted to contacting all of our government reps in an attempt to get advocacy help. I attempted to get help from NACA (don't do it!), HUD, BBB, the Attny Gen, and countless others. We had a trial modification period of 7 months to be denied based on incorrect NVP input. We have been denied HAMP Mod twice due to incorrect NVP input. We have been told several different stories as to why we have been denied, none of them ring true. I wish, with all my heart, I could find a pro bono or contingency lawyer with the testis to sue Indymac/Onewest bank on behalf of all of us who have been royally screwed by them. I don't know about the rest of you but I have 2 years of documentation of their unjust and fraudulent behavior, and still I can get nowhere. Currently we are working with our local councilwoman's office & consumer affairs office hoping to get resolution through them; investigating bankruptcy, and saving up as much money as we can in case they refuse to modify and foreclose on our home. If you have been denied and attempt to contact that particular person regarding that denial, don't hold your breath. I have let numerous voice messages and sent several emails to Mr Joseph Kiaune default escalation specialist at 512-331-2517 and [email protected] to no avail. If anyone has an avenue I have not tried, I'd love to hear it. Any help is appreciated! |
