I went in a week ago to get my eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. The wax took a little longer than a usual one so I assumed it was being done to perfection. When shown the ending results it didn't look too different from what I started with. It didn't look as if I'd gotten a full wax (as if the wax wasn't hot enough so didn't grab all the hairs). I didn't think much of it at the moment because I could discuss it with management afterward. I then go to get my pedicure that not only lasted almost 3 hours which is very unusual, I had two different people come and work on me rather than stick to the job with one person. On top of that the painting job was very sloppy. The first time I called it out, the attendant attempted to correct it only to slap a coat on top making it look very unprofessional. At this point I've been in this salon much longer than I'd planned or expected so I voiced my concerns of not being satisfied to one of the workers since, as they said, the manager wasn't in, and left. The next two days the shop was closed so I could not call them back about my unhappy visit because later that following day my eyebrows had begun to grow back already as if they were never waxed in the first place and a wax usually last a minimum of 2 weeks long. Not to mention my toes were still done sloppy and I already felt I'd paid over what I should have for poor service. By the time I was able to call into the shop, due to the weather in our area, I everyone was snowed in for almost a week so I couldn't go back up to the shop as the manager said I could. I'd finally gotten a hold of him and he told me to just come back up there and he'd fix my problems. The beginning of the next week I returned giving my name and being greeted by the very lady that did my eyebrows as well as my pedicure at some points. She began to get an attitude with me saying I can't come in and get anything corrected because it had been too long and I should've taken care of it before. I asked for the manager and he came to the front and told me the exact same thing. I voiced to both of them that everyone had been snowed in the last couple of days so there was no way anyone could've gotten there, including themselves because the shop was closed down to. I told the manager he'd already told me he'd fix my problem and he said no. Not only was I lied to and given poor service, I didn't get my issue corrected and got bad attitudes from the manager and his workers. I really don't appreciate how horrible that service was. |
