Household Finance Company (HFC, HFC DOUBLE DIPPED ON INTEREST CHARGE ME MORE INTEREST THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE LOAN VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia

A check was mailed to me voluntarily by the Merchant HFC for $7500 I knew that it was a loan and had great intentions on paying it back, but I got a divorce and my income became single income, so it was hard for me to make payments I called HFC to work out lower payments and they said I signed a disclaimer to make payments for a certain interest that couldnt be revised by them, in the mean time payments got harder and harder until I couldnt make the high payment of $276 anymore, HFC garnished my pay check for two years until they got a total of $11076.00. the day after the last payment they sent my payroll dept another garnishment saying I owe them $5886 in interest that was calculating while the other $11076.00 was being garnished, my Job got me an attorney because they had a hard time getting the law firm that HFC hired on they behalf to explain to them how someone owe you interest on an amount they already garnished....they couldnt explain it. I am telling you may story because this company is very unfair and took total control over my finances TWICE. Please think TWICE before you borrow from them....they are a scam. I paid them a total of $17000.00 for a $7500. loan....dont make the same mistake I did by taking out a loan with this company......
