Varga Transmission Center Frank Attempted to Deceive me & Rip me off for more than a Grand North Brunswick, New Jersey

I dropped off my vehicle here because my transmission was leaking fluid. They had changed my tranny with a rebuilt one about 5 years ago, so naturally I brought it there since they were the last to work on it. A mechanic inspected the leak, Frank confirmed it, and called me for the assessment. He told me that my side gasket had a major leak, and I had a minor leak from the pan gasket, and also a leak from my oil pan gasket. He was charging over $1000.00 for the work. I declined because those gaskets shouldn't be leaking in the 1st place after he rebuilt the tranny not too long ago. He called me back and said he'd give me a special discount to $750. I still declined, picked up my car, and brought it to a buddy's place to take a look. RIPOFF: Turns out, the tranny had a huge crack in it and that's where the leak was coming from! Not only that, it was as clear as DAY and a person 95% blind could of seen it, let alone 2 tranny specialists! Then I saw that the only gasket that was leaking was the oil pan gasket! The other 2 were absolutely fine! In all likelihood, he was going to drop the tranny, change the gaskets for a grand, then suddenly "Discover" that the tranny was cracked, then Wham! Hit me for another $2500.00 for another tranny or another grand for the case. When i confronted him he was all over the place. Couldn't keep his story straight and ended up hanging up on me. This place is a money pit of deception!
