To all people who read this, I suggest when buying a new or used car, stay away from Honda Financial Services period. In May my wife and I purchased a 2006 Honda Accord. We were suckered in with all the so called great deals that Honda offer's. We got our vehicle and was very happy with it. My wife loved the vehicle, it was a new vehicle for her because we bought the car first time from a non low budget dealership. To her being a 2006 it was like having a 2011. The car drove awesome where we bought it , the dealership was awesome. In June of 2011 my wife was ordered with emergency surgery and had to have a forced hysterectomy. Her doctor would not let her return for work for 3 months. In July my company cut 10 hour's of my pay. So being a good customer we called Honda and told them our situation. They told us not to worry about it and they will work on it with us. So in good faith my wife and I decided to make partial payments till she was able to return to work. They told us that was ok as long as we keep in touch with them. As we did for the 3 months she was out of work. Well on the third month of her healing her doctor told her she was not healed enough to go back and had to stay out for another month. I again called Honda Financial Services to let them know and in good faith we were going to continue with the half payments. And again their reply was that it was ok. About a month later after my wife returned to work, she was told that she has been cut down from 12 hours to 8 hour's and that really hit us hard. Embarrassed I again called Honda and gave them the bad news. Instead of hearing that it is ok, they told me that what was going on is enough and that they were working with us, and that we should be glad that they were , because the car would have been repo'd by now. They demanded that we pay $855.00 dollars. I told them that at time we were only making together about 650.00 and that we can only pay partial payments. After talking to them for 45 minutes and explaining this to them they seem to be ok with it. This month we got a letter stating that they need us to call or pay the amount owed. If payment can not be made to work it out with them. That saying triggered a full war, between my wife and I and Honda. After all their promises that they were ok with it. They came at 9:00 o'clock at night hooked it up and took it. After all the reinsurance we got that was a just a tactic that they thought we would have the car out in the open, and we were right. We did not hide from them, we did not give them any reason to do so. My wife called them and they told her that we no longer have a contract with them and that we no longer own the car. And that they do not want our business. and we were not getting the car back. They were very rude to my wife, very rude to me and I can say that I will never deal with Honda again. I suggest you stay away from them, because of all the false promises that they gave us, they were planning to take the car anyways. I am not a very violent person, but as a husband to see his wife cry knowing how much she loved that vehicle and did all their power to keep Honda happy and my kids eating that it tore me apart. So I say this to any Honda office worker, you got balls. Instead of letting my wife have her dignity and have us return the vehicle on how hard it would have been, but we would have done so. Please do not think I will forget this. Now they are telling us that what ever they sell the car for that if the balance does not cover the cost we will have to pay the remaining balance. And I tell them Ok sure, please come to my home and pick the money up. I have lots of toilet paper and will give you a whole roll, even used. Screw Honda, com'on I am ready and will win this battle..... Your call your try... Kiss My A**, and I hope other reader's feel the same way. |
