Home Protection Group Scam of the century Diamond Bar, Ca., California |

I happened to know HPG thru my tax accountant , who presented the contract to me last August 2009. The contact itself is very promising and very legit to me, so I signed the contract and charged the initial payment to my Visa Card. The contract indicated that HPG will first do a forensic audit to find out some anomalies of my mortgage loan that I obtained in 2007. After three weeks I received a letter congratulating me and accepting my application, also indicating also that i have a strong case, and now they are ready to proceed with the legal process once they received the remaining balance of my payment. I was given a personal assistant that could help me thru the process and will give me an update of what's going on with my case. After six months of waiting for results, I inquired to my Personal Assistant what's the latest update. Guess what?, The personal assistant assigned to me can no longer help me because my case was transferred to another Personal assistant. Within a year time I was given and transferred to 4 different personal assistants. Since I'm current with my payment, they said they cannot do anything, that's when they told me to delay my payments, so that my mortgage company will be forced to negotiate. They asked me to be pro-active of what they are doing and asked me to be patient delay payment for six months, which I did. When my mortgage company threatend to foreclose my property I decided to pay the whole six month. I'm current again but my credit rating was ruined already and nothing I can do. For the last year I've been sending emails to my personal assistant but he would respond to my emails anymore. I was told by my tax accountant that the San Jose office of HPG was already been closed for good. The only one open is the one in Diamond Bar in LA. I emailed also all the people in LA that was introduced to me as my personal assistants but no luck at all, and no one answer any phone calls I made. I wonder if the office in Diamond Bar is still open. I'm planning to visit their office personally to find out if there's a chance I could get my refund. |

What about WeXL's Financial Wellness Program, HPG's partner (in crime?)? I paid $3, 750 for their credit restoration service in early Dec 2009. |
