I was contacted by Home Credit Law Center, they said they could get my mortgage reduced and
eliminate my second mortgage. Derek Thomas promised me that he would be in constant contact with me, and that they had contacted the Mortgage Company and he would be giving me updates every step of the way. Well they never contacted the Mortgage Company. Shortly after they deducted the first payment of $800.00 from my checking account I was unable to get in contact with them. They wanted $1000.00 a month for 3 months, I told them that I didnt have all of the money, that I would mail $200.00 at a later date. A week went by without hearing anything from them, so I held on the $200.00 check unitil I talked to someone, but everytime I called I would get a voicemail, never a live person. I sent several emails to Derek, still no response. I began to feel very uneasy because I didnt know what was going on, I couldnt talk to anyone, so
I contacted my bank to reverse the $800.00 they took out of my checking account and stopped all
future transactions. The bank opened an investigation, and the fee was reversed. I decided to google Home Credit Law Center, and wasnt too shock to learn that the state had shut them down for operating a license.
