Unauthorized charges on my credit card: I purchased a free shipment of acai and agreed to pay $2.95 for shipping. I placed this order from Dietmax on November 2, 2010. I received the shipment on November 8, 2010. On November 9, 2010 I cancelled the order. On February 2, 2011 all of a sudden a charge from healthmax 8776421953 appeared on my credit card. This was an unauthorized charge of $88.00 and $2.98 appeared on my credit card account. I called the 877-642-1953 on February 2, 2011 and waited 40 minutes for some rude person named Troy to answer. I told him I had not ordered anything nor received anything from healthmax and wanted the charges reversed. He rudely told me I had not cancelled the order and he would cancel it now but the charged would not be reversed. He would not give me his last name or company name. He said within 48 hours he would send me an email confirming that I had infact cancelled the order. I have not yet received it and it is now February 14, 2011. I filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney General's office. I am outraged that such companies are still operating and taking advantage of people. Short of cancelling my credit card I have no recourse. I asked Troy if I could talk to his supervisor and he said he was the supervisor. What can I do to fight this? Thank you.
