HCG Medical / Dr. William H. Shuler, MD Beware!! They are unconcerned with dangerous/fatal symtoms; Ripoff in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Not only was I cheated out of the medical services that HCG Medical / Dr. Shuler promises at the onset of signing up with their weight loss program, but, they totally misinformed me on the safety of the HCG injections. Yes I started the program with an eagerness to loss weight. My part was to only eat 500 calories a day; inject myself with the HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) daily; and stick to the program that they provided which I did. Their part was to provide me with medical supervision; analyze my hormones balances; my metabolism; cholesterol levels; my liver; kidney; and thyroid functionality; monitor my vitals; blood work; and address any medical concerns and or symtoms throughout the 6 month program. I contacted HCG Medical to discuss some developing systoms I was experiencing which caused me to be very concerned and fearful for my health. 15 days after starting the injections my monthly cycle started. It was the most horrible cycle I had ever experienced! It came with excuciating abdominal pain; a severe and prolonged heavy flow; very large clots; shortness of breath; dizziness; and vomiting. It was so bad I had missed 5 to 7 days of work for three months in a row during my cycle and suffered not only with severe pain but missed wages. When I contacted HCG Medical and asked to speak with Dr. Shuler, he was not able to take my call and I was told a nurse would call me back the very next day. No one called me. I called back and they said that Dr. Shuler was very busy but to keep injecting myself with the medication and stick to the program. After several calls to complain about my symtoms, and demands to speak to the doctor I was told that my symtoms were strange and Dr. Shuler has too many patients to call me back but that I should just stick to the program. I did not continue to inject myself with the HCG, I did however did some research on the drug and found that it has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration as treatment for obesity or weight control. HCG is used mainly to treat fertillity issues. The systoms I had developed were similar (almost exactly) to those discribed to be Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) which usually occurs as a result of taking gonadotropins -- hormonal medications that stimulate the production of eggs in a woman's ovaries. In ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, your ovaries become swollen and painfull. Complications of severe OHSS may include kidney failure; rupture of a cyst in an ovary which can lead to serious bleeding; breathing problems (adult respiratory distress syndrome); blood clots in large vessels, usually the legs; twisting of an ovary; and fluid collection in the abdomin. After endless calls to try and speak with the doctor or nurse at HCG medical and with no luck, I had to question if there really is a Doctor Shuler. I stopped the payments on my credit card and reported the faudulent part of the program to my credit card company which is: They never intended to watch over my medical stats.... therefore cheating me out of medical services promised; they did not have any concern for my symtoms; or any concern for the risk to my health, they just dismissed my symtoms as being strange. Although their program intoduction states that "Dr. Shuler would never put any of his patients health at risk" and will reimburse all your money if he feels your health may be at risk. Dr. Shuler and his so called Medical Team, never intended to assist me medically and or care to reimburse me. They even continued to charge my credit card for the total amount of $1595 (not to mention a separate charge of $199 for the HCG medicine). I hope to put a stop to this scam from HCG Medical and Dr. Schuler, because not everyones body is going to react the same to a drug prescribed by this doctor and your health may be at risk if he is so busy to be bothered by any problems you may have after starting the program. If Dr. Schuler is a real doctor then why would he not contact me and follow up with my complaints and the symtoms that I developed after starting the HCG injections. Why would he take on more patients then he can handle especially if it means someones health may be at risk. I for one could not allow my health to be at anymore risk and therefore would not continue the program. I still to this day have not heard from Dr. Shuler and or a nurse from his office. How many others of you are out there that may have experienced the same or similar situation as me with this company and doctor? I hope to get enough patients of Dr. Shuler's that have been ripped off as I have been, to be able to get a class action law suit started against HCG Medical / Dr. Shuler and his staff members. Please be aware of the dangers to your health before considering starting a weight loss program with this company and so called doctor. They only care about your money not your health and well being.
