If I could give this business -5 stars I would. And here is why, I placed several orders with them and each time the order came damaged. It was for a Palazzo counter height dinning table. I had actually purchased the regular size table a few years back and loved it, Had NO issues, so I came back and decided to purchase this item because I have moved into a smaller place and had to sell the previous purchase. I have placed 3 orders for a table from hayneedle.com and upon arrival all 3 orders have been damaged. Hay needle is NOW refusing to ship out another replacement saying that at this point they can give me a full refund and CANNOT send me another item. This is very frustrating and makes me extremely angry due to the fact that I still have NO table and NO one is willing to make this situation right. They were supposed to contact their warehouse to ensure that it was packaged correctly and it was NOT packaged any different then on previous orders as they were instructed to do so! I am very frustrated at this point and they are telling me that it is their policy to NOT place a 3rd orders which again, how can this be my problem because I am NOT the one at the warehouse that is packing this order!! I have NEVER been as unsatisfied with an online company as I am with hay needle right now and I will NOT recommend that anyone I know shop here. I will also be sure to post this compliant on OTHER sites as well as the BBB so that people can be aware that this company does not give customer service that is satisfactory. I had placed an order with hayneedle a few years ago and received a similar item and was very happy with it. DID not have these issues. I will NEVER shop with this company again. Beware that if you received an item that is damaged and continue to receive a damaged item, they will do nothing about it, tell you they are sorry and say that is their policy. It would be like me going to Wal-Mart and taking a blender home 3 times and then Wal-Mart saying to me, I am sorry you received a damaged item but, our policy is you cannot buy another blender because your last 3 didn't work. Who runs a business like that?? You would NEVER keep your customers especially if it was their fault that they kept stocking faulty items. In this case it's with the packaging and they have NOT packaged this item in such a way that would keep it from getting damaged. You would consistently have customers coming back with items that were not correctly inspected and packaged correctly. How as a customer is this my issue when I am purchasing an item and expecting it to be of the highest quality, yet when I keep getting a damaged item then why would I want to keep that. Wouldn't I want what I paid for?? This is ridiculous and very upsetting. I would NOT recommend purchasing from them as their customer service is not about standing behind their products, its about I am sorry we can NO longer help you!! |
