Hawaiian Food Online refused to answer my several e mails informing them that a food item I had purchased on line from them was inedible.
I asked for a response which would adjudicate the situation either in the form of a refund or a replacement of the item.
Having had no response from them, I believe other consumers should be warned that they do not seem to take responsibility for such unfortunate occurences and being on line makes the consumer more vulnerable to their callous disregard for consumer rights. |

We sell perishable goods and the Customer is the one that selects the shipping of there products. We have sold Hawaiian Food in Las Vegas since 1991 and via the Internet since October of 2007. We offer the lowest prices possible on shipping and started our Company to "Spread Some Aloha" and will continue to do so.

Shipping
We ship our Frozen Foods by FedEx 2 Day Air or Overnight from our facility in Las Vegas, NV. All of our Hawaiian Frozen Foods are shipped to us from our Hawaii facilities by air freight. This lowers the overall carbon footprint and shortens the trip to your door by over 2500 miles! Since there is No Overnight FedEx Shipping from Hawaii to the lower 48 states, our Overnight shipping from Las Vegas, NV is actually Overnight and you can save money by selecting 2 Day Air Shipping for most items.
Our shipping calculator is directly linked to FedEx and you receive a shipping cost that includes the substantial discount we receive as a volume shipper. Frozen Foods can be shipped by 2 Day Air to most locations. If it is very hot where you live, and you are ordering Manapua please consider overnight shipping.
Shipping Days: We ship FedEx 2 Day Air Monday thu Wednesday, Overnight Monday thru Thursday. Saturday Delivery is available for an additional charge. (No Saturday Delivery in Hawaii or Alaska) This is not built into the freight calculator so you must call us Toll Free @ 1-800-819-5824 for this service. 2 Day Air orders received on Wednesdays will typically ship the next Monday. Ground Packages are shipped Monday - Friday.
2 Day Air Shipping may cause the product to arrive partially thawed. This is NOT a problem! Our "Once Frozen Food Products" Simply put them in your freezer! There will be no percieved quality or taste difference should they partially thaw in transit.
We are confident that we utilize the best and most environmentally friendly packaging technology in the industry. Your Frozen Food is packaged in a Cardboard Box, Insulated Styro Liner, Foil Thermal Barrier & Poly Liner. We use pillow Phase Change Modules (gel packs) around your food to keep it cold. The Phase Change Modules are frozen to -20F. This replaces & eliminates the "carbon footprint" of dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) from your shipment.
All orders take 24 hours before they are received and processed by our system, and are shipped immediately according to the shipping schedule.
