Starting with Transtar, they treated our stuff like garbage being taken to the curb. A number of our things weren't boxed and just thrown in the back of the truck. They damaged and stole approx. $575 worth of our stuff not including a 61 inch TV. They had our things in a truck overnight and took it upon themselves to root thru whatever they could and stole what they wanted.

We had to deal with Arpin from a claim standpoint which we paid an additional $400 for full replacment coverage, what a waste. They just ignored all the stolen items, did nothing about the TV because there were no visible signs of damage, and only replacemed a couple items that were shattered into pieces because they had no way of denied those. One broken item was a glass shade to a 15 piece candleabra which they gave us money to replace that one shade, unfortunetly for us they are no longer made so we have to replace all 15. The sad part is the majority of what they stole was baby clothes, what kind of persons steals baby clothes.

Anyhow I would not recommend either of these companies to my worst of enemies. I've moved with professional movers in the past and these companies can't even compare.
