Greyhound Bus CAUTION, NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Internet |

I had the misfortune of traveling from Newark, N.J. to Daytona Beach, Florida on a Greyhound Bus. This company is the absolutely the worst managed that I have ever seen. Each and every employee we encountered was rude and nasty to the customers. How can this company let this happen. These people should be glad they have a job, yet they yell at and treat the paying customers like animals. Forget trying to call and get information, I urge you to call the Orlando Florida Terminal. The phone rings for 3 to 4 minutes then cuts off. I tried for 3 weeks and got this over 300 times on each and every month. A 22 hour trip, turned into a 28 hour trip of horror. There was bad weather a part of the way causing heavy traffic, BUT they make som many stops and each stop is an adventure. A 30 minute stop turns into a 2 hour stop and you ask any Greyhound employee will yell at you, be patient and be quiet, it is unreal. Mass confusion no one can tell you what the lastest delay is. The best excuse was we have NO DRIVER. After pulling out of a terminal somewhere in Virginia The bus came to a red light, then it turned green and we did not move, after about 5 green lights and no movement, the passengers began yelling for the driver to make an announcement and tell us what is going on....we sat ther 40 minutes and the excuse was the drivers computer GPS was frozen! At every stop is bedlam, if the stop was supposed to be 30 minutes you would be lucky to get moving after 2 hours. Overnight Travel- you would think they would make less stops so the passengers can sleep. We stopped at 1130 pm then 1am, then 230am, then 4am. You could not sleep more than an hour or so. Honestly I could go on and on, but the bottom line is NEVER use this bus company, mismanaged, nasty, uneducated employees, that create havoc instead of defusing angry passengers. The worst travel trip in my 55 years on earth. |
