| I thought this would be a good site to bid and get items at a discount. They said I would get 10 free bids when I sign up so I did. After signing up they asked for my credit card information ( I entered it assuming it would only be used if I won something). My account was charged $99. It turns out there is not even a way to sign in or get back into the site. I am in college and dont have the money to just throw out freely... |

| grabswag is committing fraud..anyone that has signed up and been charged 99.00 please contact ic3.gov and file a complaint..this is internet crimes division..this company needs to be shut down.. |

| Thanks for having a site like this.Was referred to www.getcent.com which must be another "lead in" and ended up at Grabswag. Read through the terms as I always do, but found no membership details so googled the name and ended up on this site. Thanks for the info and sorry to those who got caught. Happened to me way back, but a lesson is before you sign up for anything, Google it. As the old saying goes.."If it is too good to be true, it Is"... |

| Got a link on Facebook from a member for www.getcent.com and when I logged in, I ended up on Grabswag. As I always do, I checked the Terms, but nothing about joining up fees, just the 75 cents per bid. Being caught a number of years ago, I googled Grabswag and arrived here. Thank you all for your feedback. Saved my butt. As the old saying goes, If it is too good to be true, IT IS..Thanks again.. |

| Came close to signing up also .Sounds so good, but checked out complaints in grabswag Thank God i did Thanks everyone for reporting your experiences and I wish you all luck on getting your money back and remeber Copy and print out all info on companies you are buying from /Plus date anfd time done |

| It gets worse! I did not even know about $100 scam, but Sat. they had a ipad for auction and screwed that up making people over bid the next6 day I called and they admitted the screw up and replaced my bids...stupid me thought it was a one time thing. Last night they had a laptop for auction and I bid on it, it said I was winning 28 times but the clock stalled on the one second mark for times ranging from 3 seconds to over 28 seconds. I called several different C.S. people and was placed on hold for over 11 minutes before being disconnected. Spoke finally to "nick" #421 and was offered nothing but a refund of bids that were lost. Hi everyone, this also happen to me I trusted this web page read through their policy and everything looks ok, until I decided to provide them with my credit card, then after I click and entered I happen to see a charge of $99.00dollars. I called them to this number 888-467-4217 immediately and told them to cancel such account, they responded that they can't do that. I said that's ok all I have to do is disputed through my AMEX and I know I will get my money back and you people will have to spend additional monies with your attorney to fight AMEX,
they responded that they will give me back $49.00 dollars and I said NO, they I continuing saying that I will disputed and they offer me $74.00 back, I continuing saying that I want the my $99. dollars and they said OK,
however, I refreshed them that if I see any charges on my account I will disputed anyway. To everyone be careful with this so called them self company. |

I found a Nikon DSLR on Craigslist for a great price, and after emailing the owner she replied saying that she "just met up with someone" and sold it, but that she found hers at Grabswag. She then gave me some hints about when to bid, to help make it seem more authentic. It seemed too good to be true. So it was. Now to let people on Craigslist know |

| July 29th - I was bidding on 100 Rewards Box. I kept hitting the bid button and another person won the bid, when it reach $3.00. gdfields. I again tried another 100 Rewards Box. When the bid was $2.94. I kept hitting the bid button. Another person won the bid $2.94. They took my available points. |

| I just had the same thing happen to me. When I finally got thru to them. I got the same speach about the terms and conditions, which I did not see, and like some of you thought that the CC was for if I won something. I continued to plead with the lady on the phone. She finally said she could give me a one time offer of 75% off. meaning I would pay around $25. and get to keep my bids. Now I'm afraid to even do that. I am having problems now getting the wedsite to even pull back up on my work computer. I think I'm going to call my bank as well. thanks for the info, wish I had of read before I got caught too. |

Trick to winning everytime is to bid only when counter hits 4 seconds.

| I Got scammed with This So According to law You Got 3 days To get It Off Your Account So Go To The Bank and Have them Pull Out This Account Their is A Phone number Attatched to this Account and Have your Banker Call The Account and Tell Them To Close The Account, They Will say They can't and They Will Give you 50% of Just Tell Them You need to Speak To their Supervisor and and have the Phone To Your Bank Supervisor who is handing your Account and He, or She Will Tell Their Suprevisor that They Cannot Take Your money according to Law After 3 Days. | I was also scammed by GRABSWAG.COM. I also was charged the $99 without ever being told that I would be charged anything. So I figured lesson learned and I will at least try it out. I was winning an auction and the timer went to 1 second (held there for about 3 seconds), then the page refreshed, and the item was gone. I went to “my account” page to see what I needed to do next to claim my gift certificate and Surprise surprise someone else had “won” the item that was clearly mine. Stay far away from this site. |

| Sorry to say, same here. I'm disputing with my bank. Also did not receive the Amazon gift card that I won. Trying to claim money on that as well. Only reason I decided to give them a try is that I won in 28 days 15 items from another auction site. And, received those items within 5 days. Some are legit, this one is NOT!! |

| I just went to this website, and it clearly says .75 per bid, 99 dollar start up. Clear as the nose on my face. I also read terms and conditions, it explains things clearly. |

| I'm in the scammed club too and was out $50. I won my bid on an Amazon gift card on 10/5/11 and to date have yet to receive it. Sent 3 emails to the company but no responses. Just found out that the BBB has a file on them! If I ever get the Amazon card I'll only be out $3.44 for the whole sorry business. |

| I had the exact same experience with grabsway! This is insane that a website can just take $99 without you agreeing to it! I have been trying to dispute this for 3 months now! I went back n forth with my credit card company since I am unable to get in contact with a human being at grabswag. I faxed the page that shows when u sign up there is nowhere that says how much it is and I can't believe after all the evidence that this is a total scam website, they sided with them! I wish I would have bought it with a visa because this MasterCard isn't as easy to help. :( I don't know what else to do but I refuse to let some random person take $99 from me and I get nothing out of it!!! |
