I have a great example of you get what you pay for. I have been wanting to buy the Spanish version of the Rosetta Stone. I want to learn to really speak Spanish. So I have been looking on ebay and craig's list for about a month for a used copy of the Rosetta stone.. I googled biz-rate so I could see who is selling it for the best price. A new version is out so I thought I could find a good deal. Well, what do you know I did! $228 for all 5 levels. That was a great deal from what looked like a Rosetta Stone website. I bought it through my paypal account, so I felt it was a safe bet. I thought it was strange Paypal made me type in my mastercard number, but it was a killer deal. My Rosetta Stone Spanish version showed up in a package from China. There was no packing slip. Hum, I thought that's kinda weird. I was too excited to care. I tried to set it up on my computer, but it wasn't working, so I called the 800 number on the instruction card. My Rosetta Stone was a pirate copy! There was nothing they could do for me. I went back to the website where I bought it from and sure enough on closer inspection, I had been duped. I emailed the company to give them a monitor full and then immediately called my credit card company.
