I AM REPORTING THE COMPANY GOODTEAM MOVERS, LOCATED IN SUNRISE FLORIDA. I WAS QUENOTED INTHE BEGINNING A PRICE BASED ON A FEW ITEMS. I THEN ADDED A FEW MORE ITEMS ONTO MY SHIPMENT AS WAS QUOTED A MUCH LARGER PRICE FOR DELIVERY. MIND YOU, IT WAS AN INTERNATIONAL MOVE. I WAS SHOCKED THE QUOTE OF 8000.00 TO MOVE BOXES, 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS, 3 DRESSERS, 2 SIDE TABLES WAS FOR THIS PRICE. I HAVE USED ALLIED VAN LINE FOR MY 1ST MOVE FROM TORONTO CANADA TO CORAL SPRINGS FLORIDA AND THAT WAS FOR A 3 FLOOR HOME, TWICE THE FURNTIURE AND THAT COST WAS ONLY 9000.00. AFTER HEARING WHAT IT WAS GOING TO COST AFTER EVERYTHING WAS LOADED ON THE TRUCK, I ASKED THEM TO TAKE IT OFF. THE TRUCK WAS LOADED ON DEC 15, 2011 AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 7 BUSINESS DAYS TO ARRIVE IN CANADA. I HAVE CALLED, EMAILED, THEM SINCE DEC 23 AND TOOK 3 DAYS FOR THEM TO GET BAcK TO ME. WHEN THEY GOT BACK TO ME THEY SAID"THEY CAN'T GET A HOLD OF THE TRUCK AND DON'T KNOW WHY IT IS NOT THERE. THE OFFICE PATCHED ME THROUGH THE DISPATCHER AND HE SAID HE WAS IN NEW JERSEY AND WILL BE DELIVERD ON JAN 2, TODAY, JAN 2, I HAVE EMAILED THEM AND LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGESS, THEIR MACHINE IS ALWAYS ON AND NO ONE TO TALK TO. OH, DID I SAY I PAID THEM IF FULL OF 4285.50. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY, DO NOT PAY ANY MOVERS IN FULL TILL YOUR ITEMS ARRIVE AT THE OTHER END. (THIS IS WILL GIVE THEM INCENTIVE TO DELIVER AS PROMISED.) A GREAT NEW YEAR LESSON.

My name is Michael, one of the managers here at Good Team Movers. This specific customer which will remain nameless because we are respectful of our client’s privacy had a move done by our company back in Dec. 15th of 2011 which was the day the customer requested. On the day of the move which I personally went to check how things were going and I saw that there were more items in the home than were listed by the customer and informed her that if she will like to take anything ADDITIONAL then the price would raise and was told by her that she would decide what to take after the final total with everything she had on the truck! This is not how things work in the moving industry. When a customer wants to load everything which is what we did, and then takes off items from the truck which is what we did as a common courtesy. This is not a standard practice but as always we like to think about every situation as if we are the customer and not the mover so we helped out. Now as to the customer's confusion for the delivery, nowhere on our contracts or any other mover for that matter will delivery with-in 7 business days to Canada, delivery to that area is 7-21 business days but of course only the 7 business days was heard by the customer nothing else. Also a personal side note to the customer's comment on how "I THEN ADDED A FEW MORE ITEMS ONTO MY SHIPMENT AS WAS QUOTED A MUCH LARGER PRICE FOR DELIVERY. MIND YOU, IT WAS AN INTERNATIONAL MOVE. I WAS SHOCKED THE QUOTE OF 8000.00 TO MOVE BOXES, 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS, 3 DRESSERS, 2 SIDE TABLES WAS FOR THIS PRICE." never at any point was the move $8000 and I like the comment about just a few items more than the estimate. I would be very happy to forward any documents needed to show proof that there was MUCH more than BOXES, 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS, 3 DRESSERS, 2 SIDE TABLES the customer ended up paying $4182 which was $550 more than the original estimate because of the added items that were decided that will need to be taken over the inventory we were supplied. Its saddens me that none of the complainants or good reviews are verified to make sure a complaint or good review is justified and not just a person wanting the improbable and complaining when things don't go as they imagined. To even be of a website with the word “scam” in it is appalling but unfortunately there is nothing we or any other company can do to stop consumers from degrading our name. But if you go ahead and check us out at reputable locations like the government or the BBB then you won’t find any complaints because they verify the information posted online.
