Global Asset Recovery Petty Criminals who manipulate the system to their advantage. Farmingdale, New York |

I had my van repod for a total 1,200 dollars I owed. Fine I got what i deserved for being late. I spoke with Darren @ Global Asset recovery and he assured me he would hold my plates so i didn't have to be inconvenienced any further because he hated to screw the working man. He did and I was very greatful as I thought I was dealing w/proffesionals. Unfortunately, they are a bunch of petty thieves who are no beter than crackheads. They stole a few dollars in quarters which I don't care about. What bothers me is the irreplacable hunting knife given to me by someon whose no longer on this earth. There's only 3 possible people who could have taken it. There were 2 drivers who I have on video, or the guy who works in the yard. He reassured me that my property was safe as he's the only one who works the yard and it's always locked. I explained that I want it returned anonymously and there would be no questions asked. Unfortunately, nobody has contacted me and I want to let everyone know that Repo laws need to change. How can they literally steal a $30,000 van when I only owe 1,200? They basically just robbed me of $28,800 not to mention the $50,000 in tools in my van. How is it legal they can rob me of $78,000 for $1,200. This goes to show how corrupt the system is and who they truly protect. The criminals running these corporations and this country. |

Global Asset Recovery has been relentlessly harassing me, first by email, then by phone and today, they sent me a Bank of Montreal credit card. I do not, nor have I ever had a BOM account and I certainly didn't ask for this card. These people do not take "No" for an answer. After their 8th call, I yelled at them and told them not to call again or I would call the police. That stopped the phone calls, but then they followed up by sending me a credit card I had not asked for.
My father told me I should have called the police when they were still hassling and I wish I had. They think that I am near bankruptcy and are being these white knights who are going to rescue me. Nothing could be further from the truth.
As I said, I will alert the authorities if they contact me again, or send me another credit card. I am far too busy to keep having to cancel credit cards. They are annoying and disruptive and I will not be surprised if they send another card. |
