Theres been alot of questionable activity on GMB, givemebeats.com.
He doesn't pay his producers you have to chase him to get a reply back no one answers the phone and I have been waiting for a payment for months now. Its not just me there are many producers in the same boat and when you confront "him/them" about it they get snotty and then STILL don't pay you. These are quotes from other member wanting there money from him This is crazy he is keeping there music and money. Member 1: "Its been over a year for me. At one time i had $1200.00 on hold. I just gave up, and stop posting beats up. Yes, im still waitin and email him everyday! We have talked to lawyers and they are working with local and state investigators.They tell me that GMB had over 500 complaints last year. And over 200 so far 2008.When they do come down on him, they going to hit him hard." Member 2:"Whats UP WITH THIS DUDE? I BEEN HAVING MONEY ON HOLD SINCE LAST YEAR, AND EVER TIME I SELL AN EXCLUSIVE BEAT, THE EARNINGS WILL BE ON HOLD. I GET NO ANSWER FROM THIS GUY AND I EMAIL HIM LIKE TWICE A WEEK, I HAVE $120.50 READY FOR PAYOUT (PENDING) SINCE FEB.18. I ALSO HAVE $110.55 EARNINGS ON HOLD, AND $14.35 UNPAID EARNINGS, I BEEN A MEMBER SINCE JULY OF 2006 HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND HE NEVER ANSWER HIS NUMBER THAT HE GOT ON THE SITE. I KNOW HE WILL DELETE MY ACCOUNT OFF GMB BECAUSE HE DID THE SAME TO DRU OF BEATBOXERZ PRODUCTIONZ. DUDE ERASED THE FORUM SO WE CANT POST NOTHING, HE WILL HERE FROM AN INVESTIGATOR SOON." Member 3: "yes Don't join givemebeats.com they owe me alot of money too. I advise everyone on here to just stick with this site." Member 4:" he still aint paid me. Thats why i reported him 2 BBB i hope they shut his butt down." Member 5:"I tried to approach him respectfully by asking for my payment because it's been 6 months now, but it quickly became non-sense because he wasn't talkin any sense.
i took my songs down after a few days of not being able to reach/contact anyone at givemebeats.com and then finding out he keeps your songs in his database EVEN AFTER YOU DELETE THEM from your beat shop page. I found that to be kinda slick" Member 6:" he owes members so much money and when he wants to pay you he does and if not he won't. I think he spends the money and then doens't want to fork it out when he gets is back. BEWARE Of this site its a scam and I am reporting him to ripoffreport & BBB and you all should too." John
