I called an ad I saw online for Choice Automotive for a Mercedes S55 AMG - spoke to a Geoff who said he had just sold that car but could get another one. He specialized in them - this was the beginning of my 2 week nightmare. Geoff persistently called me and sent pictures of various vehicles he could purchase or had in stock. Finally, I bit on one and sent him a deposit.... then as it turns out - he never owned the car and the guy who did had never heard of him. I found this out by mistake as I was looking on other auction sites and saw the vehicle. Geoff could not tell the truth if his life depended on it - he is a compulsive liar and I think mentally disturbed. I called immediately to have my money refunded and told him - "Geoff not sure what you are doing but you can't sell me a car you don't own!!!" He of course had a story - as he does for everything. The long and the short of it is I called the Florida AG, The PInellas County Police dept, The Florida DMV dealer administration along with a civil attorney. Geoff put a check in my account and then stopped payment, even as he lied about it on the phone. It took me the better part of 2 weeks to get my money back in pieces but I finally got it all back after I threatened everything even bodily harm to this crook. He kept calling me which is amazing as he seems to enjoy lying and cheating people. I was lucky in that I got my money back but I caution anyone out there - DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY A PENNY. |

| I had the same exact thing happen to me by the prick and the crazy thing about it is this is what this piece of shit does for a living... He had my money for a month before only returning $1000 of the $3, 800 he owes me... Im in the process of taking him to small claims court along with my cousin who he has screwed over also. This douchebag calls me everyday lying about everything and anything he can... He then Western Unions me $500 after telling me that he sent all of it...Then when I get to the store to get the money it has a 24hr hold on it... Return the next morning for the money and its only $500... I call him bitching him out telling him Im on the way to the court house to file the paper work and he says Im sorry and I'll send the rest... Takes him 2 more days and I only got $500... This guy is a con and a shitty one at that. He's being dealt with now and all the legals are in work along with his actual Auctions license being revoked...BEWARE OF "GEOFF WHITE" HE DOES NOT HAVE A DEALERS LICENSE!!! HE ONLY HAS A AUCTIONS LICENSE WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW HIM TO SELL CARS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA... | He stole $16, 584 from me through ebay. Shipped the car to me, but never gave me the title. The car was a lemon, and told me that he would resell the car to someone else. Told me that he would replace it with another vehicle. Ive been waiting 1 month and now he is no longer calling me. I am about ready to submit my information and details to the FBI. | Geoff White soliceted an investment of $20, 000.00 from me to purchase and flip a Bank owned piece of Property in Cape Coral Florida. Needless to say he was never able to produce any paperwork from the purchase and after listening to every excuse in the book and some excuses that only be devised by a true con-man he was never able to do so. Geoff was someone I considered a friend. We went to the same church and had many friends in common. After some investigation I found out he never purchased the house and when I demanded my money back. Like everyone else it was excuse after excuse. $200.00 here, $300.00 there all with yet more stories. Three years later he has disapeared with a $5, 000.00 balance left. He is a thief, a liar, a criminal, a con-man and will steal every dollar he can and the sad part is, use his family as a buffer. I feel so bad for his wife and kids. I was a contractor in Afghanistan when a friend of mine reached out to ask to borrow $50K to buy West Cost Motors in a partnership transaction with Geoff. The promise was 20% return on investment in 6 months. Like many others here, Geoff, in his sick way of reassuring us, continued to return phone calls saying that "if I was not honest about repaying you, why would I keep calling...I just have to tie up some loose ends on my restaurants that the "Indians" are destroying (referring to people from India who were managing the stores). Many times Geoff cut the call short due to a "meeting" and then would not be heard from for days. He would tell us that there were ACH transfers going into the account for amounts between $2K and $5K only to find out there was a deposit for only $500 if at all. Geoff is a pathological liar and professional scam artist. His efforts border on that of a total Ponzi scheme but with a twist. I sent numerous emails to him and even to his wife Stacy who maintains her innocence in this but I am sure she is complicit as she was the beneficiary of Geoff's lies and subversion. I too, saw the list of court cases only months after we were trying to recoup the money from Geoff. His scams reach much further into the system than tax evasion. I was told that Geoff scammed his own father for ~$30K! Additionally, Geoff apparently forged Bob's signature to some bank paperwork so Bob is going after Geoff for forgery in two different counties.
UPDATE, I just had a phone conversation with someone who is out over $100K and is getting ready to file another lawsuit against Geoff. He informed me that his wife (Stacy) is innocent and that Geoff stole most of her $1M annuity and even lied to her about the house in Odessa (it was foreclosed but Geoff told her that he sold it and that she should expect someone coming to give her $30K downpayment...instead, she receive an eviction notice). Geoff is currenlty serving 1 year and 1 day at Pensacola Federal Prison.
If there is a way to make a larger suit than the one described by Bob (who I just spoke with), please let me know. |
