General Motors gm, chevy, Chevrolet Refusing to fix 2011 Camaro Detroit, Michigan
22nd of Nov, 2011 by User938368
2011 Camaro, Dealer is claiming that the engine is blown but really hasn't checked. Says they won't warranty the work because they believe it is due to neglect. I contacted Chevy customer service and the GM executive office but they just went along with the dealer. They want $6800 for a new engine and if I want a true diagnosis of my current engine they want $1800. The car is 11 months old with 32k miles, this is my everyday driver. We changed the oil ourselves but I am unable to locate the receipts to prove this. I have been a loyal gm customer for 11 years and my parents have been customers for almost 50 years. It makes me sick to think that I purchased warranties and all to help me in the situation but their sitting their making excuses to get off the hook. This was not a cheap purchase and none of my others have been either.
