Our Homeowners Insurance Company Assurant/American Bankers of Florida We had hail damage on August 1 2011 which damaged our roof. they sent out an adjuster from three states away. He went up on roof I showed him the holes and then he went away. several weeks passed and we get a check for 1/2 the roof ?? WTF I instructed them to send out another adjuster which they did he did not go on the other side of the roof either. did not take any pictures of the roof damage and went away. I called the claim handler in florida and he says the adjuster claimed I told him to forget about the back half of the roof ??? HUH this was the whole reason for sending him out in the first place.Remeber he did not go onto the back half of the roof at all !! plus no pictures. Our roof leaks still we spent what we had for tarps to protect it. we still don't have the check because the insurance company has to fax the bank ( USBANK) a copy of the adjusters report ( which we never saw) We spoke to the new insurance claim handler yesterday and he says the adjuster didn't see any damage ?? HUH?? he did not step on to the side of the roof in question....the back ! He admits he say damage to the front of the roof. HUH? WTF..... morons are everywhere. these guys conspired to defraud us of a lawfully filed claim. we still have a damaged roof... today...no check and we are still waiting for the insurance company to do something,.... 60 days have past.still no check. So do not use these guys they are fraudulent and so is Geico !! the owner of american bankers i think. who cares if they aren't I am pissed !
