I did not receive a bill for my latest payment. The latest payment happened to be the payment that if not received on time, would cause me to incur a charge of over $2,100. I have called the customer service line numerous times. I have talked to someone in India for over an hour to no avail. I had to beg to speak to someone in my own country. I have been hung-up on or cut off twice while trying to deal with this. I have three small children and a full time job, I do not have time to sit on hold for hours only to be cut off! We recently moved so the mail could easily be messed up but I find it very hard to believe that this particular bill is the one that went missing. It was a 12 month no interest deal which I have made large payments on each of the past 11 months. My payment history makes it clear that I had every intention of paying this off on time; there was no reason for me not to make a payment. They have offered to reduce the charge by half. To me that is not acceptable, there should be no charge. I have spoken to many people about this in the past few weeks and actually found another person that had a similar experience with GE. That leads me to conclude that it is not a coincidence that my final bill never showed up! And weeks later I still have not received a bill although they agreed to reissue it? GE completely cheated this situation.
