gametag.com never paid for

I submitted my EQ2 account for sale to gametag.com on 11/4/2011. As per the information on their website and in their emails to me, they promise approval of submissions within days. It has now been nearly a month and I still have not received payment. Gametag sent me correspondence requesting my preferred method of payment, which was direct deposit to my bank account. I foolishly provided the information. After providing the information and not hearing anything from Gametag for multiple days, I received an email informing me that their system "misquoted me" for my account, and they offered to pay me an adjusted price of nearly half of the originally quoted price. Keep in mind, this was after they had agreed to purchase and requested my bank account information. Gametag will not reply to my email inquiries, and their online "chat" feature is always conveniently tied up. All email or chat inquiries inform me that I will be contacted within 1 to 24 hours. After several attempts I can guarantee that this is not the case. I strongly discourage ANYBODY from using this website for their "services". Their website promises users a fast and hassle free experience. This is nowhere near what I have experienced with them. I have received no service at all, I simply have been cheated out of my account. I have read several of the posted complaints and subsequent responses here on this site regarding the same company. None of which sound the least bit professional. One even goes far enough as to spout off how "legit" their company is. A company who defends their reputation to people they have scammed by using a junior high student's cheapened vocabulary of slang is not one anyone should do business with. Use a more legitimate service.
