Forever After Marketing Alan J Abeles CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD ON FILE FOR $3800.00 WITH NO ORDER OR AUTHORIZATION AND THEN MADE UP STORIES ABOUT WHAT HA |

I am the assistant for Administrative Assistant Orientation and Commuter Student Services at a local university in Miami. We had done business with Alan Abeles at Forever After Marketing a couple times in the past, and had just recently placed an order for some promotional items in March. However, after that order was delivered and paid for, a separate charge appeared on our credit card statement for September 2010. I immediately emailed Alan on 9-13-2010 about it and he got back to me telling me he just got back from vacation and would look into it. After a few days of no response I emailed them on 9-17-2010 for an update. He responded on 9-20-2010 with this response "Jessica, I apologize I was out of the office for the Holiday on Friday. Your card was some how memorized on our on line credit card system and was accidentally charged for someone else's order. We are rectifying the situation with the processing company now. We have corrected the memorization problem so this will never happen again. I will send you written confirmation as soon as I have it. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the delay" It seemed off from the get go, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. On October 5, 2010, I received my next statement, the charge was still there, so I sent Alan another message asking him for any update on this. I never heard back from him on this, and then called my credit card company to get the charges reversed. Of course they said everything he said was totally ridiculous, and they would credit me back the charges right away. Stay away from this guy. He is a total liar, and a scam artist, and charged our credit card on file, without approval, and then strung me along without BS. We will never due business with him or this company again, and neither should you... |
