Foreclosure Defense Law Center Took My Money and Did Nothing but put me in FORECLOSURE Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

When I started having trouble paying my mortgage, I searched on the internet for an attorney that handled loan modifications as the urging of my bank. I was contacted by Mark Harris of the Foreclosure Defense Law Center. He seemed nice and understanding and offered to contact my mortgage company to see if they would be willing to work with me on a loan modification. He called me back a day or so later and said that he spoke to them and they are willing to work something out. He sent me all of the paperwork I needed to fill out and a spreadsheet of all of there successes. I shelled out $2000.00 and got nothing but a notice from my mortgage company saying that they were starting foreclosure proceedings. The FDLC had advised me not to make any more payments on the mortgage during the negotiations so that is what I did. I followed their instructions to a fault - no payments, don't speak with mortgage company because it will mess up negotiations and when I received a foreclosure notice they said not to worry - you have a lot of time the bank is only doing that to protect their interests as long as we are in negotiations nothing will happen. Well, I have had to hire another lawyer and am still fighting the foreclosure but the bank keeps saying I was wrong to stop making payments even though that is what these scam artists advised me to do.
