Ford Sold a defective ford f150 2004 Dacono, Colorado
26th of Nov, 2010 by User435543
This is concerning a 2004 Ford F150, at 90,000 miles. I went to change the spark plugs to keep up with my vehicle Maintenance and notice that one of the spark plugs sleeve had fallen off and was stuck inside the cylinder head, I then moved forward with another spark plug to see if I would have any luck and it was even worse all that was left when it came out was a thin wire the rest was stuck inside I didn't even hear this thing snap or break! I had just purchased this vehicle not even a month ago! I have researched online now and see that it is happening to all Fords 2004 and newer buyer beware! I will now have to pay out of pocket to have it towed, missing work in the process and I don't know how much it will cost other than what I have researched which the lowest amount being at $1100.00, Which is not a low price, when this is a defect in the vehicle. Ford has to fix this recall these vehicles. buy Ford again NO WAY!
