Florida Embroidery Failure to Supply Product or Refund Money Brandon, Florida |
26th of Dec, 2011 by User382606 |
Florida Embroidery was the designated school uniform vendor for my children's new school. We ordered all of their uniforms (as required) through this vendor, that was at the beginning of August 2011. The uniforms were supposed to be delivered before school started on 8/23/11. It is now the end of December and after several attempts to get our uniforms we still have not received them. Unfortunately, the staff and owner of Florida Embroidery are extremely rude and unresponsive and refuse to give any apology or solution. They keep blaming their 'vendor', but will not give a refund. I find it hard to believe a company would hold our school clothing budget hostage all these months and not deliver either the uniform or a refund. We have had to purchase new school uniforms when the school was forced to lift their requirement of having the embroidered logo uniforms that this company was supposed to provide. Hundreds of families just at my children's school have been left in this same predicament. In fact, the school tried to arrange some sort of mediation in the middle of December in order to get the uniforms families had ordered. Unfortunately, we still do not have ours. I think the lack of concern and professionalism of this company speaks volumes and I will never use their services again. I am happy that the school administration has also come to the realization that awarding this company the contract for their authorized school uniforms was a mistake. Parents have already been assured that a new vendor has been lined up for the coming school year. If you ever want your merchandise or even a refund, do not do business with Florida Embroidery. Contact parents at some of the areas new Charter Schools, such as Winthrop and Woodmont, you will find literally hundreds of families still fighting to get the uniforms they purchased last summer. |
