went to dealer after being approved through their online financing application.
dealer appraised trade in @ 3000$ which was good for my vehicle. The dealer showed me what the conditions and terms of my loan and monthly payments, ETC.
Then the dealer attempted to tell me that the 3000 $ was somthing they had to wait on to clear the bank. BS. as if they were getting money from the bank that I was getting my loan from, for the trade. Then they the financing check from capital one would take about four days to clear.
then they told me that they would put me in a loaner car till it cleared and keep my trade there with the vehicle i wanted to purchase. I didnt sign anything and walked out. What I figured they were doing was sitting on my approval , they more than likely would have called me a few days later to tell me my financing fell through. I am sure they magically would have saved the day by going with a higher interest rate and tacking on a higher payment where they could have made more money on the deal.Liars! They also said capital one liked to see Gap insurance financed and Extra warranty on the loan.
BS! capital one will not finance gap insurance. this place was trying every trick in the book! They are not a part of the BBB, figures it might not go with their ethics!! Fitzgerald GRAND Auto Mall of Theft!
