As a customer with FPB, I thought it would be wise to purchase credit protection on my account in the case i had lost my job,
something that was common for Consultants. Nonetheless, I had injured myself 9/15/2009 forcing me to go on to Worker's Comp. No, it was not what I would ever had expected but the impact of the injury was the same as a loss job. Though I am unable to work, I continued with the use and payment of my Credit Card. In May of 2010, I realized that I can no longer make payments because I was on the verge of being homeless, and all pay had ceased.
Therefore, I contacted FPB to file a claim with Credit Protection and they put me in contact a person to assist me and they walked me through the paper work they were going to send. I received the paper work and supplied them with my
medical records. Once they were in receipt of that paperwork, they denied me saying that I had not applied in time. I have had my accounts about two years, how could that not be enough time. They told me that I had to have had the protection for 1 year and 30d in order to receive the protection. I informed them that the first charges on this PREPAID card were my excessive fees and the credit protection fees, giving me more than a year and thirty days. I was continuously denied the rights to use what I have paid for. On May 2nd 2011, I spoke with Janelle, Supervisor for FPB IN-HOUSE COLLECTION agency that reported my debt as a
charged off to inform that there was a 25 payment made on the account from credit protection and nothing else. She also informed me that if I wanted to continue those payments I would have to send paperwork monthly, which I knew
nothing about. I never knew there was payment made and I never knew there was a process to maintain the alleged payment. Never to mention, she provided me with this information after having tell me she had no access to any
of my payment history because they were the First Premiere IN-HOUSE Collection Agency and there was no access to my file. Well, she lied. She accessed my payment history and the payment that was made by credit protection, a
payment I knew nothing about. FPB are liars, they pretend to not be able to view payment history and credit protection on the file. They forget their lies and inadvertently divulge the truth while chatting with you.
