I had a confirmed reservation for a car rental at EZ Rent-A-Car in Denver. I arrived on schedule in Denver, shuttle was great, arrived at rental center and there was 1 guy behind counter and about 30 people in line. I asked someone who worked there (but wasn't helping out) what was up and they said there were no cars available. I had a reservation yet there were NO CARS! I was told I could wait and they thought there might be 30 cars back over the next 6 hours and I should be able to get one. The actually expected me to sit and wait up to 6 hours to get the car. When I asked a second time the guy behind the counter yelled, "Hey, I just work here, I don't make the rules." He was a little snot and acted like it was my fault his crappy company took reservations they couldn't fill. I went next door to Budget and rented a car. They jacked the price from $40 to $80 and required Insurance because so many people were coming from next door. The Budget guys said it happened all the time. EZ Rent-A-Car takes the reservation at a low price but doesn't have cars. I guess many people just sit around and wait. I think EZ Rent-A-Car should pay me the difference in what my car cost. In my opinion, EZ Rent-A-Car in Denver is a total scam.....
