Extreme Boot Camp Linda Taix The owner and her husband hired my family's handyman business to do light construction services, services, then did not |

The owner of Extreme Boot Camp, Linda Taix, and her husband, hired my family's Handyman business to do light construction work for them. This involved purchasing and transporting materials, 3 full days of hard labor starting at 5 am, and a total of $80 worth of gas to and from the location in a very wealthy area. They waited until the job was 100% completed to their satisfaction, and then they asked for proof of worker's compensation insurance, and a business license to practice inside their city limits. Really?? After the job has been completed and the final payment was requested? That's a good time to ask, IF you are trying to cheat someone. As we did not have worker's compensation insurance for my son, (not required for Handyman services), they have refused to pay. SO three days before Christmas, I consoled a grown man who cried for the first time in the 20 years I have known him, because he was unable to get Christmas presents for his 2 children. These rich people in their big fancy home, who spend more on botox each week than the $730.00 owed, I suspect may have planned this from the beginning. When asked for the final payment, Linda's husband pushed my ex-husband several times, and said he was trespassing on their property. The La Crescenta Sherriff's department advised that since there had been no injuries, it was very unlikely the district attorney would file assault charges. Do NOT patronize their business, we are a legitimate business and modest, hard working people. They, on the other hand, were telling us how great it was that they can take people's money, and their customers only show up for a few sessions and then quit. This way they can totally overbook themselves, and do only a very small percentage of the work they have been paid to do. Maybe their program is as pathetic as they are, rather than too challenging... |

Linda Taix the owner of Extreme Boot Camp DID NOT screw this handy man, Mike Davis of MMb Home Care out of any money! He should pay her for all the faulty workmanship that Mike Davis and his Son did. I went to Linda and her husband's home on Christmas for a Christmas party and I could not believe the faulty workmanship and the damages that were done. Mike Davis' Son spilled paint thinner all over a big area of the brand new spanish tile in the middle of the living room, which just looked horrible! and it's a large area that could not be covered up or repaired. She also showed my husband and I where Mike Davis built a breakfast countertop that was not level and uneven and over sanded. We both thought that the workmanship that Mike Davis and his son did was awful! If I were her, I would sue him to replace the tile he damaged and also for a whole new countertop because Mike Davis claimed to be a professional and he is not! Linda Taix and her husband now have to live with this mess Mike Davis and his son did because it's too costly to fix. Wow! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MMb HOME CARE or MIKE DAVIS! or you'll be sorry. |
