EXCELL PERFORMANCE MEN'S EDGE MEDICAL THE TRUTHG BEHIND THE DECEPTION Dallas, Texas |
9th of Nov, 2012 by User276910 |
Mem is headquartered at 5550 lbj frwy, #360, dallas, tx 75240. Tel: 972-996-0900, fax: 972-996-0905. Website: (www.mensedgemedical.com)*. They have recently opened offices in (kansas city, ks, 5401 college blvd suite 203, leawood, ks 66211, tel: (913) 553-461 and (las vegas, nv, _ 6380 west flamingo road suite a, las vegas, nv 89103, phone: (702) 331-7077, and likely looking to expand to other states. The truth is that i have knowledge of fraud, deception and harm to humans that i believe is wrong, illegal and unecessary, and that it is my moral and legal obligation to do what i can to warn the public of the improprities. The following are my opinions and are based on facts, my observations and experience, from a front row seat through 2012; i am sure it did not stop then. I believe the state of texas’ sybiotic relationship lies with protecting the perpetrators in the interest of fees, taxes, and jobs. So, don’t expect the state or anyone else to voluntarily protect you. You need to be proactive and express yourself openly (see urls’- web addresses below). Mem is rife with morale and moral hazard from the top down. They are willingly and intentionally violating public policy, endangering public safety and flagarantly disregarding the law and common decency. I have witnessed operational standards that i would expect to see in a bowling alley in juarez, but never in a north dallas retail clinic, parading as a medical office. Of all the policies that employees are required To acknowledge, they are only to protect the owners financial interest. There are none about protecting customer safety. Customers have been hurt, and a few have gone to the hospital. Yet, they have a policy not to call an ambulance, but rather take customers to the hospital in an employee car, another hazard in itself. Mem is owned by charlotte burns ([email protected]). She also has a j.d., which makes her less than customer friendly, and is reason enough to use mem’s comppetition, (dallas male medical clinic, clinichttp://www.nationalmalemedicalclinics.com/dallas, 4125 fairway drive suite 190, carrollton, tx 75010)*, if you think you need to play with this fire; then get the initial test for free. The office manager is raul garza, a trusted member of the gang , who helps to develop the “secrets to success” to sell to investors (what i refer to as deception and fraud). Beware investors! Some areas of obvious concern: • There is a flagrant disregard for the law, violations of public policy and the endangerment of public safety. There is pattern of deception & fraud against the public, employees, vendors and regulators. It is as if everyone is a potential victim. • The rapidity with which treatments ( haha) change with experience (much if not most of which is negative), and the adaption thereof, gives me the impression that this is one big dangerous human experiment. • Mem’s website claims to have 10,000 customers. 6000 never existed and never will. Out of the other 4000, 50% did not buy anything and never will. Out of the remaining 2000, 90% will never come back, even to get medications they paid for. • Mem is engaged in false advertising and deceptive business practices, also verifiable at the bbb’s site: (http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/health-and-medical-general/mens-edge-medical-center-in-dallas-tx-90115064)*. During the first year-and-a-half that garza was manager, mem’s bbb rating dropped from c to f. They use false testimonials. I was told that the owner wanted me to concoct a false testimonial, which i did and which they used. Recently, they have been using a testimonial insinuating that they are treating high blood pressure; i never knew them to treat hbp. • They are using uncertifeid and unlicensed employees to mix medications, draw blood and give injections without a doctor present. • They are illegally promoting hcg as an fda approved product for weight loss. Click on the following link to the texas attorney general website: (https://www.oag.state.tx.us/oagnews/release.php?id=3883) & (http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/consumer&id=8408455)*. • When people call in from the deceptive ads and ask what the cure for erectiledysfunction is, they are told that the center has all of the fda approved solutions and the customer needs a medical exam to find out the appropriate solution. The reality is that everyone of them will qualify for injections and will not be told until the doctor steps into the room with the assistant who is hiding the injector while the customer is being told to lie back and put and rest his head on the pi low. If the customer is not pro-active at that point, he is going to get the injection. • The risks are being under-stated and the benefits are being over-stated. The customers are not being told informed about the risks. Many have resulting pain and discomfort, sometimes resulting in additional painful procedures and sometime injury requiring hospitalization. After the test dose, a sales person, dressed in scrubs comes in and customers are told the doctor wants them to use the medication 2x/ week, which is patently false., and the transaction is completed before the customer realizes the full effect. I am not aware of anyone who is willing to inject their penis 2x per week for more than a week. If they did, their penis would likely turn into scar-tissue; if you are familiar with needle tracks. Most people that by 100 injections, take ten home to test again and never come back for the rest. Since the informed consent form completed at the begging of the first visit has a clause that all sales are final, it is very difficult to get a refund. The sales receipt also claims that it is against federal law to refund on medications; i doubt if that applies to medications that have not been mixed by the center yet. That brings up another point- customers will also be told that their medications have been custom mixed if they push for a refund. • Another thing that the salesman will tell the customer is that men lose testosterone and that the doctor (frequently false) wants them to get a blood test, currently $250. The customer is not most often then told about the cost of treatments of $100-200 per month. Nor, are they told about the $250 test every 8 weeks to determine they are part of the group that turns this testosterone into estrogen and then there will be other needed medications that run $300+ per month. What next? As far as i know the human experimenters have not figured that out yet. • After making sales, certain reps, the manager and the owner run up and down the halls giving each other high-fives and knuckle crunches (you know, the 3w routine). • There are no written standards for hygiene. At one time the people that are mixing medicines and filling syringes, which legally should be certified pharmacy techs but in reality is just about anybody, were using sterile pads to clean the bottle tops, with no hand cleansing and before dropping the sterile pad onto the heavy-traffic counters. But, that step was lostby the person that illegally promotes himself as a pharmacy tech (pt) and has been unable to pass the test (the other one in the highly-trusted inner circle), and adopted by everyone else up the chain of command. If, and when, the sterile pads were used as above, it would then be passed off to the person assisting the doctor, who then hands it to the doctor, who then parades down the hall where it is eventually used to cleanse the customer’s penis for the injection. The same person mentioned above once dropped a sterile pad on the floor and suggested that is was usable for the above process. I witnessed the same person throw medications on the counter and files before packaging them for customers; the reason, he was mad because the customer did not buy enough or that he had to package the medication. • This group is hiding behind the trust & dignity which we place in our doctors, the white coat doctrine. • They are prentending to be in the cosmetice business to extend credit through care credit. In every fault, there are too many cracks to count. This gang is deceiving everyone, including state agencies without peril. I do not know about the rest of humanity, but i find this to be disgusting. We can lead the third-world up or they can drag us down. If this is what you want from medicine, then find and tell your federal& state representatives, newspapers, tv stations, and bbb’s. If you want better, tell the same people, but more importantly warn your family, friends, and neighbors. Unfortunately, this is not a subject that users openly discuss, which allows the evil doer’s among us to prey on the ones we care about. Forward this to everyone you know, male and female. Be peroactive against this method of business and medicine in the u.s. find and contact your state representatives: http://www.fyi.legis.state.tx.us/, http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/find-your-representative). Complaints to the texas medical board: http://www.tmb.state.tx.us/consumers/disciplinaryprocess.php, [email protected] The texas attorney general complaint form: https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php. If they will lie, cheat and steal from employees, customers, vendors and the government, who will they not lie, chaeat and steal from? . In fact, thestate has chosen to defend these perpetrators at great expense to the texas tax payors. |
