Poor quility of EvoMax Tablet Battery does not hold a charge at all.

I received the 10.2 in. EvoMax tablet on 2-25-12. The battery will not hold a charge and I have called the 888-529-0022 tele# AND WAS CUT when I wanted to return item. I have e mailed them with no response. I brought it through Amazon advertizements and paid by my Pay Pal account. Is there anyway this company is legal and what can I do to get a response from this company or have them investagated. Please Reply.

I bought the small one and the large one. They were both defective. They said I could return them. But the problem is that they have to be returned to China. The company is listed as being in Florida but the factory is in China. They want them to returned-registered.. This is the problem. To return them USPS- ground alone is $28.00 and to send them registered is another $30.00 for a total of $58.00. If I knew that they would have to be returned to China, I would have looked elsewhere. I spent $224.00 and I would lose all that money. I am contacting PayPal. Buyer beware.

I was tempted but decided to talk to them via the chat feature instead. I asked something about the website and then asked because their address was in Miami, if I could come to their storefront. They said that they did not have a storefront right now (warning #1) and then I asked if they were certified by the Better Business Bureau and they said yes they were.

Good luck - I would just walk into Best Buy and look at their options at this point...

I just ordered mines yesterday too and I tried to contact them through their telephone number but no one was answering, I tried email-ing them. I was wondering if I'm gonna be able to get my money back because I really want to cancel my order.

I ordered one on Feb.20/12 also through PayPal is this a ripoff at PayPal dos anyone know if it is because I have been waiting 10 working days now I called the company got the same run around they said it is delayed may take another week and I sent a email to PayPal and gave them all the info on my purchase they sent me in a email and asked them if this company is fraudulate but have no answer from them yet either

Yes, this is a ripoff, I ordered, took forever to get to me and it looked used. The screen was foggy from the inside, it wouldn't hook up to wi-fi and there is no tech help. You can't talk to anyone and you can't respond to the trouble tickets. It is costing me about $60 to send it back. I hope I get the rest of my money back.

I ordered mine 2/25/12 and they claim it was shipped 2/27/12. The tracking number still does not register. I stumbled across this sight by accident. I was under the false impression that paypal sights were checked out and safe. If paypal is not helping and evomaxx is not helping, has anyone tried their bank or credit card company? It is probably too early for me to do anything but I am going to call my bank when I get off work today. I was just curious if anyone else had tried getting help via that route.

I have order the 10" tablet on the 23rd of Feb. it was shippped out on the 26th. This is March 13, and it has been 16 days and still no tablet. I chatted with someone online and asked about the 30 return. I was told that it started the day it was shipped. I was asking someother questions and my session was end.
I was just hoping for a reasonaly good tablet, but now I am not for sure about that. I feel like just refusing the tablet when it does arrive and call both PayPal and my credit card to get my money back. If I would had known that it was going to be this much of a problem I would have looked else where. But I guess that is what happens when you want something for less money.
And just who is Happy north america!?

These are the same people that I bought the so called "Hidden Camera Pen" from at hiddencamerapen.com and yes, it is a scam. I paid about $30 for the pen where they clearly claim 1280X960 resolution and after a month and a half it arrives and is only 640 x 480... there you go. I called and they are stalling to frustrate you to give up. After all, it's not much money and the scam really works cause you will give up in frustration.

I ordered mine over a month ago, it just arrived today... BROKEN. Crack diagonally across the screen, it powers up but the touch screen doe snot work because of the crack. Going to try to reach them on monday (no one answer today) to get return info.

Their packaging was not very good considering the distance it had to travel, not surprised it arrived broken.

If I had known it was coming from china I would have gotten the insurance, actually I would not have ordered from them.

Went out to shopko today and bought myself a 10" tablet, a little more but at least I have it and it works. Now to figure out how to get my google apps on it...

I ordered 3 7" tablets on 2/24/12 and still have not received them! It is unbelievable how many lies and deceptive information I have been told.
1. They ARE NOT in the United States
2. They outsource their customer service to the Philippines
3. They have no idea where your package is
4. Tracking number is no good.

My wife and I have had several conversations with "live agents" promising us that we will receive our purchase, but have yet to receive it. I have contacted PAYPAL, through their debt resolution dept., and will get my money back, but will not want my tablets when they get here.
I have also been promised to be contacted by their "Senior dept." but that has not happened.
35 days since we ordered these, and now after reading 2 different websites of complaints, just cringe at the day they get here.

There should be some kind of action filed against these people somehow. Either class action, or with some kind of international fraud agency.

PLEASE! if you have made this purchase thru PAYPAL, contact them immediately!

I GOT MY MONEY BACK THEN GAVE IT BACK TO THEM, DON'T I FEEL LIKE A TWIT AND KNOW I'M PICKING MY NOSE HOPING AND WAITING IT WILL EVEN TURN UP.

OF COARSE THEY HAVE STOPPED RETURNING EMAILS AFTER HASSLING ME TO FINALISE PAYMENT .

I FEEL THAT I'VE LOST $220 AND EVEN ON THE ODD CHANCE IT EVER ARRIVES IT'S PROB GONNA BE BROCKEN OR JUST CRAP.

I am always one to give the little guy a chance. I bought a Velocity Cruz R101 when they first came out, and was very very pleased with it. SO, I wanted to buy a cheaper one for my boyfriend, and bought the small Evomax. Here is my experience:

1) It did take a while to get to me, but I live in Hawaii, so I am already used to that. Arrived strangely packaged, but not damaged.

2) Initially played with it and realized it has no access to Google Play at all, although the website makes it sound as though it does. Instead, like the Velocity Cruz, it has it's own market to buy apps from. This market, however, was rather skimpy. However, I didn't expect a big market from such an inexpensive product. One has to expect compromises when going the cheap

3) For a touch-resistive screen, it was excellent and I wish my Cruz were that responsive. Very easy to navigate.

4) BUT IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE. I charged it overnight, and as soon as the power source is removed, the tablet stops working.

I've read several reviews of this item saying the exact same thing. Battery does not hold a charge.

They did, however, respond to my request for a refund, although I haven't taken time to ship it back yet, and I'm not even sure I want to bother.

What surprises me is the company's own Quality Assurance - I am really concerned that any company would spend money on manufacturing a product with a known defect that appears probably 90% of the time. If they cared about their PRODUCT, they would make a fix, then start manufacturing again.

They don't care. They're trying a hit-and-miss strategy.

I would not recommend spending the bucks on this item

Thank you very much for your comments. I wish I knew this website before I bought 7" EvoMax (I would call it EvilMax). It is exact like your comments. You name it. It is a piece of sh. It is a scam.

I ordered the 10.5" one in April. When I received it it wouldn't even power up. I returned it on MAy 11 and still they claim they have not received it back and so there is nothing they can do. The USPS informed me that the international postal service are not oblicated to scan tracking tickets. I use my PayPal account and apparently since it is in the return phase there is nothing they can do either. So I guess I will have to chalk this $200 up to lessons learned. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I ordered one for school and got it over a month after ordering it. After 30 mins it wouldn't turn on and they told me i could return it for a full refund and i will only get $5 back for shipping but it cost over $30 to ship it back to them and i shipped it april 21st and i still haven't received a refund. Every time I contact their help support they tell me it will come in the next batch and yet I haven't gotten anything. I'm a broke college kid and I saved up the money to get that for myself for my online books and stuff and now i'm out of a lot of money that I didn't really have and I regret it everyday because I don't think imma ever get that money back. Big mistake.

I ordered the 10.2" tablet in March for $130.00 plus accessories. When I received it three weeks later, I charged the unit as directed, however, it would not hold a charge, and within the week, the power button stuck on, and it started flashing crazy images on the screen. I returned it in early April (international rate of $17), but the USPS has only record of it up to a New York customs facility. When I called the company, they said they had not received it back, so there is nothing they can do. The USPS informed me that the USPS is not obligated to scan international tracking tickets. Still, if it happens to you, inform the US postal inspector @ 1-877-876-2455, or email postalinspectors.uspis.gov. Consumer alert!!!

I wish I would've read all the complaints on this product before I wasted my money. I purchased the 7" evomax Android tablet on February 27. I didn't receive it until March 23. I tried to use it for a couple weeks with no success - it would not connect to the internet, even when standing directly next to 2 different wireless routers, and was extremely slow and frequently froze up and needed to be re-booted - both issues I've come to find several other people have experienced based on web postings. On April 16, I finally called the company for a refund and was issued a return ticket. I paid an additional $28 to send back the product via US registered mail, as required by the vendor, within the vendor's refund-guarantee period. According to USPS records, the vendor received the returned product in Hong Kong on April 25 at 4:10pm. I was told the refund could take a couple billing cycles to post. On August 20 I tried contacting the vendor. Calls went unanswered, so I submitted a ticket to their support center online explaining that I still had not received a refund. They responded on August 23 with a simple "refunded already". I immediately replied that same day asking for clarification on the exact credit amount or location (paypal or credit card). They responded on August 27 that it should be in my paypal account. On August 28, I replied that the refund was neither credited to my paypal account nor my credit card. On September 23, I submitted another ticket to state that I still hadn't received a refund. On September 24, the vendor responded that they have had a deluge of orders and are behind in getting to everyone, but to please be patient and my refund will be processed. Now, over 6 months after they received my returned product and a month since they promised my refund would be processed, I still have not received the funds. Paypal won't do anything since the purchase was more than 45 days old. They advised me to file with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaints dept.
