Equity Transportation Tamara Ripped off and treated horrible @ Equity Transport in Walker, MI. Internet

It all started my first pay week with Equity. The girls in the front office really butchered my pay. They said I owed them $350. my first check. My girlfriend, being a better arguer then me, finally made it make sense to them. They gave me $250 my first check and added the rest to my next check. 3 weeks go by and I'm paying bills and eating by the skin of my teeth. I had to get my phone shut off due to the lack of exp. in payroll. I got a real cheap pre-paid phone, which helped! So finally, I'm getting comfortable and I had a family member pass away. My dispatcher gave me the ok to take off work and stay at home with my small kids. Friday rolls around, the day of my first big check! I look at my account and it was over drawn by $14.00. The first thing I did was call my dispatcher. He told me that he did not have a clue why, and for me to call Tamara. I did, the conversation went just like this: I put a hold on your check for vanishing with our truck and and if you don't have it back here by 8pm, Im reporting it stolen! But its not stolen, its safe and I need to get paid. If the truck isn't back here by 8pm, its stolen...click. She hung up on me. I had to pack my kids up and drive a semi to Grand Rapids with no money! I got it there by 8pm and Aaron told me he would call her to release the hold. Its been 6 days now and bills keep coming out of my over drawn account. It is also illegal to put a hold on someones check as far as I know! I need legal advice about taking action. I went to this company to make money and lost my butt off! Look at my DAC report too. Im a great employee and this is not how I expected to be treated! Shame on Equity and some of the bad ones running that place! Do NOT work here!!
