DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have worked for many different event staffing firms and Encore is hands down the worst when it comes to paying their staff. They will even go as far as to ask their managers to spend over $50 out of pocket in expenses for critical event material, and then take more than two and a half months to reimburse. The communication in this company is the worst I have ever seen, even on days of the event. their website clams they pay their staff within 4-5 weeks, but that is simply a lie! I worked two events about 2 weeks apart from each other and have yet to be paid for either... This was around 3 months ago! I was the staff manager for both events and each time I had staff complaining to me about how they are still waiting to be paid from events worked over 2 months prior. These people were scared to write or call encore to complain because they feared Encore would then never pay them! This company is taking advantage of our pour economy and the fact that people are desperate for work, and willing to roll the dice even tho they know they likely won't get paid for 3 plus months. Because of their hard finacial position they have no choice but to take the work and hope for the best. From what I understand most people don't bother writing complaints about Encore for fear of never being paid! I will never purchase product or use services from any company that hires Encore for their event staffing needs. There are plenty of other great event staffing firms to choose from. Firms that treat their field staff with respect and pay on time! I am completely disgusted with Encore Nationwide. I plan on contacting the companies I represented when hired by Encore to inform them of how their event staffing firm has been treating it's field staff. I recommend if you ever managed for Encore to contact the client directly to inform them of Encore's actions. If you were ever an Ambassador and don't have the client contact info, contact your Encore staff manager for the event, explain your situation and get the client contact info. |
