efindoutthetruth.com The Background Check Store Ripped Me OFF! Never Delivered what I ordered! Won't respond to my emails now! Pompano Beach,, Flori |
29th of Jan, 2011 by |
I paid eFindouttheTruth.com to do an employment background check on myself. They offer 2 types. One is the basic for 14.95 and the expanded version is 19.95. I paid for the expanded version for 19.95. All I got in return was 25 yrs of address history (several of which were addresses I have never lived) and I got 1 (that's right 1 employer) returned to me. The one employer was a business I myself owned many years ago. I am 46 yrs old and have had many jobs in my life. Most for very huge well known companies. Not one of them was on the report. Nada, Nothing!!!!!
I have sent them approximately 12 emails. All I get back are the form emails that say "we verify that we have received your email"...that's it.
I have gone to their website and tried to chat with customer service whom ignored me and was very rude. Would not answer my questions and hung up on me.
I want my money back and these people exposed for the scam that they are. All they are doing is looking at public records and nothing more. There is no report being done for your money. An 8 yr old could have done this report.
I wouldn't have paid them for something I could go online and do myself. I wanted them to return a report to me with employment verification just like the pros do. That is what they led me to believe they were doing.

Similar story Bonnie. They have no customer service and I'm appalled a company thinks it's okay to hang up on customers, write rude emails, and rip people off. Somehow they're still in business and all I can do is hope that by writing these online reviews, that you reconsider working with them. We pay for a service and expect to be treated with respect and have the company be honest. YOu won't get that with efindoutthetruth and so the few dollars you'll save by them having a cheaper price? Well, yeah. Save that money for when the background check you runs isn't really a background check and you've got less than stellar people you're working with.
They're dishonest, rude, probably a lot scammy than any of us ever know. Stay away. |
